Brisbane, in Bears colours and playing on their old ground turned in a Bears performance for the ages. Well done!

Sparrow keeps getting called Swallow but it doesn't seem to work the other way 🤔

Just got home and turned on Kayo. What on earth just happened this afternoon? And whoever decided to call a GC v Bears derby the Q Clash?
-
I thought they weren't allowed to talk about big Cox on tv until after 9pm?
-
Will be more fun knocking out Collingwood after a 21-2 home & away season.

Hi GtG. On the face of it that's an incredible hand to play. You could never see BG agreeing to go to WC though and JVR is going to be a rippa so unless we're getting go home vibes I'd say he's a keeper.

LOL. In what parallel universe are our players falling over each other to sign for West Coast because of our player welfare?
-
I wonder what the asterisk after the $1 is for? * Surgeon General's Warning. Supporting St Kilda can damage your health.

Or he'll take my soul?

Waiting for the announcement of $5 one game "memberships" to get us to our 75,000 target.

I thought professional boxing was all fixed, like professional wrestling. Maybe she'll be scripted to make a glorious comeback in the rematch.

So no choice at all really then dazzle. Was always coming to the Dees with those options.

Dunstan was disillusioned and heading out of the AFL system before we came calling apparently so no guarantee he would have ended up at any other club. Disappointed for BB as he's one of my faves. Great human being too. If he's dropped on form rather than injury this late in the season though I fear for his chances of returning. Worried that we're getting a little thin through the middle of the ground now with Spaz out with a sore calf.

What They Are Saying at Punt Road
Rab D Nesbitt replied to Lucifers Hero's topic in Melbourne Demons
Whatever they lack in chromosomes they make up for in blind optimism. Bless. -
Come September it won't matter a jot how much we beat Adelaide or lost to GWS by or that Collingwood ran over the top of Carlton, Essendon & St Kilda because none of them will be there. It'll be the same four teams that currently fill the top four positions pitted against each other, winner takes all.

One of those games where you keep feeling were one goal away from putting the game out of reach then end up having to save it. Perhaps in Joel Smith we've found our David Fairclough.
-
I'm taking more of a philosophical view on this subject as I can't decide who the lesser of three evils are to play or avoid. Given the opportunity however I'd prefer not to be in close proximity to Collingwood's putrid fan base again this year.

Cats bossed the last 5 minutes and could easily have won if their inside 50 entries had been better. Nothing to do with Bears learning from last week despite it making a good narrative.

Bears gonna [censored] the bed again.

Pick 4 it is then.....

BG seems to have a long torso but shorter legs which could be the reason he’s so good at ground level. Huge unit though. Seems to cover the ground relatively quickly for a big guy too.
-
LOL. Phenomenal. What on earth was that? The tune is familiar.
-
First time visitor to Coburg’s ground to see BG’s Casey debut. I wonder if he’ll get a Gatorade shower if we win?

How gorgeous are the Ionian islands M_9? One of my favourite holidays was a fortnight hopping around Lefkada, Kefalonia and Ithaka in autumn. You can keep the 40 degree heat though!
