  1. I don't think BG will be moving clubs. However, is it possible that the agreement to pay part of his wages is between the CFC and BG himself so it goes wherever he goes and Melbourne have agreed to a separate contract with him?
  2. I'd like to avoid playing Collingwood in any final because their scummy fan base would ruin the occasion. At the Sydney game last year I was on an aisle right next to two bays of their fans. They were good craic, a fair number who were members at Pennant Hills and had travelled down for the weekend. It would be nothing like this against the great unwashed.

    Giddy Up!
  4. On yesterday's evidence you'd have to think Riewoldt and Cotchin will be next. Dusty could go around again if he's so inclined. Kamdyn Mcintosh just looks like he's 60.
  5. Have just started watching the replay and the cameras panned to Dipper in the crowd who was with former Crystal Palace, Arsenal & England forward, Ian Wright. Commentators mentioned Dipper but were oblivious to Wrighty 🤦🏻‍♂️
  6. Just back from the game. Level 4 City End, just in front of Matt Jones and his kids, all decked out in the red & blue. I was worried at half time. We were just a bit off and said to a mate that we need to find a way to break the game open with four unanswered goals if we're to win this one. Around half way through the third we stopped them getting beyond their half forward line and progressively began to lock it in our forward line for longer periods. In the last they couldn't stay with us and we tore them a new one. Love getting one over that lot and their sooky fans.
  7. I’m outdoors at a little Thai place at the top end of Bourke St and they have a dish called Crying Tiger (tough). I’ll take that as an omen.
  8. Please don't f...up this glorious weekend of football results Dees.
  9. Watching Collingwood, Brisbane and Port this weekend reminds me of when Toto the dog pulled back that curtain at the end of the Wizard of Oz.
  10. Essendon are almost 14th. 👇
  11. Brisbane, in Bears colours and playing on their old ground turned in a Bears performance for the ages. Well done!
  12. Sparrow keeps getting called Swallow but it doesn't seem to work the other way 🤔
  13. Just got home and turned on Kayo. What on earth just happened this afternoon? And whoever decided to call a GC v Bears derby the Q Clash?
  14. I thought they weren't allowed to talk about big Cox on tv until after 9pm?
  15. Will be more fun knocking out Collingwood after a 21-2 home & away season.

Hi GtG. On the face of it that's an incredible hand to play. You could never see BG agreeing to go to WC though and JVR is going to be a rippa so unless we're getting go home vibes I'd say he's a keeper.

LOL. In what parallel universe are our players falling over each other to sign for West Coast because of our player welfare?
  18. I wonder what the asterisk after the $1 is for? * Surgeon General's Warning. Supporting St Kilda can damage your health.
  19. Or he'll take my soul?
  20. Waiting for the announcement of $5 one game "memberships" to get us to our 75,000 target.
  21. I thought professional boxing was all fixed, like professional wrestling. Maybe she'll be scripted to make a glorious comeback in the rematch.
  22. So no choice at all really then dazzle. Was always coming to the Dees with those options.
  23. Dunstan was disillusioned and heading out of the AFL system before we came calling apparently so no guarantee he would have ended up at any other club. Disappointed for BB as he's one of my faves. Great human being too. If he's dropped on form rather than injury this late in the season though I fear for his chances of returning. Worried that we're getting a little thin through the middle of the ground now with Spaz out with a sore calf.
  24. Whatever they lack in chromosomes they make up for in blind optimism. Bless.
  25. Come September it won't matter a jot how much we beat Adelaide or lost to GWS by or that Collingwood ran over the top of Carlton, Essendon & St Kilda because none of them will be there. It'll be the same four teams that currently fill the top four positions pitted against each other, winner takes all.
