  1. Dylan Stephens 8 touches @ 25% DE tonight...not translated well so far

I for one, look forward to having the tallest forwardline in history. Would look great next to Mac Andrew in a pocket.
  3. He may be inexperienced, but has had plenty of practice at the quarter time huddles.
  4. Does the Football world still overrate key forwards and their impact on winning? Richmond 2017 Leading Goal Kickers (inclusive of finals): Riewoldt: 2.3 goals/game Martin: 1.48 goals/game Butler: 1.3 goals/game Castanga: 1.04 goals/game Rioli: 1 goal/game Western Bulldogs 2016 Leading Goal Kickers (inclusive of finals): Stringer: 1.82 goals/game Dickson: 1.81 goals/game Bont: 1 goal/game Redpath: 2 goals/game* (*10 games) Smith: 1.38 goals/game Melbourne 2021 Leading Goal Kickers (as of 7/8/21) Fritsch: 2.16 goals/game Pickett: 1.57 goals/game McDonald: 1.57 goals/game Petracca: 1.1 goals/game Jackson*: 0.72 goals/game Brown*: 1.71 goals/game *I've listed both Jackson and Brown instead of capping it to 5, given Brown's lack of games played. Obviously he'd be well above Jackson having played equal games.

Funny post, But to the keyforward bit, [censored] people overrate the impact good key forward have. Doing Carlton a lot of good having the Coleman medallist.
  6. I've always been a Weid fan, but at this stage would picking up a young speculative type have much worse output than Weid at AFL level if given the shot?
  7. Goldcoast openly stated they would have handed over their first round pick last year (pick 5), for 28 year old, injury prone Adam Treloar last year, so I'm not convinced we couldn't get something half decent from them. But your point is valid, about pick 30-35 odd is the best I'd expect from anywhere else.
  8. Decent job by Lewis for the most part to try and drive up the trade value. Ship him off to Gold Coast for their second rounder.
  9. Will he be invested in the 10 year rebuild?
  10. May would be wasted on Ratugolea

I'll be back with my whiteboard momentarily

There's no such thing as peaking early if you've not worked it out by now
  13. But going back to this...how do we pinch Bruhn?
  14. Bowey is (supposed) to have Whitfield-esque kicking. He may be the player you're looking for in time. Cal Twomey rates him highly and provided the comparison for what it's worth.
  15. Billings has never kicked more than 23 goals in a season. ANB's career best is 27 for context. The more I look into Billings, the less convinced I am. The exception of course is if we view him as a pure wingman. But I actually can't really see them moving Gus.
  16. We've been slowly chipping away over the last couple of years with more outside types. Kossie and to a lesser extent Rivers are classy run & carry players. Bowey into the side now, with Laurie to follow long term. Billings is a weird one, seems be a whipping boy at the Saints. Wouldn't be against him but he feels like a bit of an in-between type player - too small to be a mid, not super quick either so not overly damaging up fwd or the perfect winger.
  17. Firstly, don't get obsessed with the points equivalent. We'd essentially be throwing [censored] at a wall with later picks to assist the Pies with their Daicos bid. Secondly, no way Maynard, who is contracted is only worth a 2nd rounder. He can play both tall and small. Don't get me wrong, he's not a guy you sell the farm over, but we'd be laughing if we didn't have to part ways with a first rounder for him.
  18. Pies have picks 36, 41, 44, 45 = 1623 points They need 2400 (?) to match a pick 1 bid (3000 points less 20% discount?) Our picks 31 & 54 = 826 points In total that'd be 2449 points, allowing them to avoid a deficit next year So they'd gain the missing points needed for Daicos + Weid
  19. The irony is he actually was getting media attention in 2018
  20. Harmes has a minimum 5 fend offs per game quota and he’s not holding his side of the bargain, only averaging 4.5
  21. Fair enough. On Harmes, not sure how this can be possible? He's being playing pure mid or close enough to it the last couple games, at the expense of Viney's additional forward time.
  22. That'd kill the Eagles
  23. Yep I was mistaken, he is a free agent
  24. Weid (valued at: pick 30) Pick 31 (tied to Bris) Pick 54 Total points value - 1455, equivalent to pick 10 In exchange for Brayden Maynard. Remaining assets to trade into the 2021 draft: Pick 38 (tied to Hawks) Future 2022 1st round draft pick (Melb) - will be assumed to be pick 18 by opposition to cover worst case scenario (in their eyes) Total points value 1450 - equivalent to pick 10 Sign me up Lamby.
  25. 29 at the start of next year and the Swans would demand the world for him.
