Dunkley & Treloar in that side really restrict the output of Smith & Hunter.
  2. Acquire pick 2
  3. Still is! You can only ever have neutral feelings for GWS, it's been scientifically proven.
  4. He's a Dee's fan, so surely he plays for $20 and a hot dog a game so we can fit him in right?
  5. He & Dunn will be a strong duo for the Pies reserves
  6. Swans fans don't seem to think he's suited to any position
  7. Bowey & Hunt should suffice?
  8. Surely they'll ship off Cogs. Hopper is rumoured to be re-signing a 2 year deal
  9. Yes fair points. Hopper I rate really highly, don't think he gets as much appreciation as he should. Taranto I feel is the opposite. He hates a handball and constantly burns team mates instead of giving off the first option. Feel like long term Rivers could be a really good mid as he has a fairly strong outside game so isn't limited to being a centre bounce only player.
  10. Maynard in, Rivers to the midfield is more viable
  11. We didn't bid
  12. Richmond might have a crack. They have the draft picks. He was a big Richmond fan apparently.
  13. Good ones are tough to find it seems. Might be better off trading into this years 1st round.
  14. McDonald officially ruled out by Goodwin this morning. But 'really confident' he'll play next week vs Geelong.
  15. The best players now days typically look the goods from day 1 and he's no exception
  16. The most significant part of Hunt hopefully being okay, will be allowing us to rest Salem.
  17. Oliver Clearance.mp4 cc: @jnrmac

Ed Langon quoted as saying Oliver is the best mid he's played with - Fyfe included. It was on WA radio, can't find the link tho...!
  19. I reckon we have a bit of both don't we? 2x 2nd round picks & a future 1st round pick to trade. Add in potentially the Weid to that. Jones, Jetta, Hibberd (?) to retire. Again, potentially Weid to that from a salary cap clearing perspective. I'm of the belief you can get creative with the cap if you're well run.
  20. 'Easy outside ball' listed as a weakness from a Bigfooty draft watcher...definitely a Melbourne player.... Major strengths: Skills on both sides+vision+kicks to i50 targets+first possession winning at stoppages Major weaknesses: Struggles finding easy outside ball
  21. Trading into the draft and picking up Josh Rachele a more viable option https://www.afl.com.au/video/655158/watch-lively-forward-josh-rachele-dazzles-in-u19-games?videoId=655158&modal=true&type=video&publishFrom=1627280862001 Snapshot: A mercurial forward who has drawn comparisons to GWS star Toby Greene, Rachele has unbelievable smarts, skills, and a keen eye for goal. Rachele is rightly a standout among his draft class, having taken out the Under 16 Division 1 MVP award for Vic Country in 2019. He quickly went on to represent the Murray Bushrangers, averaging a tick under 18 disposals and two goals in four games as a 16-year-old. The exciting forward hails from an elite soccer background and has quick feet to show for it, as well as the smiling celebrations you’d expect on the end of well-finished goals. Rachele is lauded for his skills and smarts in the forward half, but has shown an aptitude for midfield work with his turn of speed and ability to find the ball at ground level. He’s capable of highlight-reel moment

    Yeah we fleeced the Lions.
  23. I know the numbers align but his decision making was far better against the Eagles. He played like a smart [censored] against the GCS.
