So proud of the group for tonight. Had to beat the umpires, the commentators on Essendon the whole night, the media writing us off the whole week, no max no tracc. (Aside from the last 7 minutes that definitely got the heart rate going) in tough conditions, the will to keep cracking in at the contest made me just so unbelievably proud.

Judd mcvee is a 200 gamer right? Right?? He is an absolute star and seeing that [censored] stringer getting absolutely towelled up was just so amazing to see.

Umpiring is disgraceful but hey what’s new I guess. It is concerning that Melbourne players can continued to get tackled for a lengthy period of time without even being close to the ball. Holding the man non-existent. the commentary is an Essendon love fest which is making my ears bleed. rivers is an absolute gun, the man is playing out of his skin and it’s awesome to see. the boys are having a red hot crack and I’m loving the intensity, just pray they keep it going into the second half.

Thats the most gutted and upset I've been after any loss this year and its the proudest i've been of the boys effort in a fair while. The intensity and the dare and the will to crack in at the contest i thought was excellent. So frustrating that the game was for the most part officiated out of hands and very frustrating to go goaless in the last quarter but overall the game actually gives me hope going forward.

Is there just perpetual booing at the ground cause the tv is making it sound like there’s non stop booing.

Based on the recent form of both teams, I'm not gonna be surprised if north run away with it, they scored with ease against the pies and without general rick down back and an underperforming midfield, I could see them being able to score quite efficiently against us. Really hope that won't happen but an illustrious man once said, "hope for the best, prepare for the worst."

i'll save a post about the game until later but by gee Collingwood fans have sunk to a new low. The absolutely vile stuff being said about angus and the championing of maynard made me sick and also just very sad. Genuine waste of oxygen, the lot of them.

All that will happen post that loss is goodwin's usual robotic press conference and a disappointed player interview. We may win a few more matches this season but performances like this will continue to become more frequent. Any change seems impermanent, always talk and never actions.
