Beveridge has got more spin than murali, that’s our “greatest win ever” according to him. You barely got past a team well below u with the umps fully in support. If I were him I’d be banking the points and not trying to sensationalise a poor effort. I mean their defence simply won’t be able to stop any top 8 side. Maybe he’s trying to salvage what he knows is another wasted season by erroneously praising what was really a lucky escape.

Albeit gutted not to get the win, personally really pleased with the effort today. Shackles certainly came off. I haven’t seen us burst from stoppage with speed in a long time and our ball movement looked electric at times, yes we had some poor turnovers but it’s risky trying to go fast. Some great efforts from our kids, culley looks like a gem, harves continues to impress. We exposed the dogs for what they are, a team that is simply making up the numbers.
