  1. Outs: Frost, Hore, Spargs Ins: May, Lewis, K.K (if fit) don't think we need Preussy against Geelong, Maxy will have the Geelong ruck department handled. want to see a big lift from Hunt, Weids, Corey Wagner or else they will be straight out when others return.
  2. J. Watts: reliable and effective (three words that were never ushered in his time at MFC)
  3. Pretty disappointed with the effort today. lack of experience, lack of key players, lack of a pre-season all went against us today. we still look like we struggle on defensive transition, especially on the G and also when the Port switched the ball they seemed to always have the overlap player. it was too easy for Port to leave defensive 50, they should not be allowed to get sucessive Jones looked shaky, Gawny was average, Hore not up to the big time yet, Clarry went missing, Weids and T-mac failed to have an impact and the list continues. no-one stood up in key moments. interested to see if anyone else thinks that the new 6-6-6 rule is messing with our structure off the bounce and our ability to get clearances. not going to burn the membership just yet and not going to call for Goodwin to be sacked but there is much improvement needed.
  4. anxiety and high heart rate have already returned, MFCSS activated. should be a good game and should be a win. Come on Dees!
  5. yeah not wrong, don't remember the same for watts? but then again, that was watts,
  6. Hi I would like to be in a league for this season (first time for demonland supercoach) Hamish / Hamo's Heroes
  7. i bet ya if a richmond player was invovled in a similar incident, he would get off with a fine. they are so fückin biased
  8. absolute bs, fück the afl
  9. about time we were compared with the big 4 (essendon, Richmond, hawthorn, Collingwood) in terms of members. we could always use the North Melbourne method and sign up 10,000 cats and dogs to get to 70k??
  10. my patriotic mfc heart tells me to challenge the bs my brain tells me that he won't get off and that instead he should just cop the ban. However, even if this specific incident is not willing of a suspension, it does not bode well that he is doing this stupid stuff in a practice match let alone what might happen in the real deal. although he is new, he should still be leading by example. the labrador and o'mac can hold down the backline in the meantime.
  11. if we are going to use both rucks throughout the season i think it will feature Preuss largely in the forward line and Maxy in the ruck, with Preuss able to give a chop out if needed. lost of positives to take away from the game. does not even begin to dampen the enthusiasm i have for the 2019 season. Go Dees!
  12. Big Call: Mick Malthouse hates Melbourne and is horribly biased actually wait, thats just plain obvious. all aboard the dees train!
  13. Vanders is going to demolish some people this year. I would call him the skull crusher but I have already reserved that for Stevey May. thought the Preuss/Gawny combo looked good.
  14. pretty happy with our draw, tough at parts but it will be good for the players to be facing better opposition more regularly and it will avoid us being labelled 'flat track bullies' just because we were beating crap opposition. it also means bigger crowds, more money for the club and also makes it easier for the club to lure better players for 2020 season. what pisses me off is that Richmond get looked after yet again (13th easiest fixture according to champion data) and while i get that they have lots of fans which is good for the afl's revenue, surely they would have a harder draw considering they finished 3rd overall. it is just bizarre. anyway, super pumped for the 2019 season, carn the dees!
  15. Umpires just won them the game. Absolute disgrace
  16. Proud of what the boys were able to achieve this year, annoyed that it had to end so badly and I hope this inspires them to go again harder next year (not get mentally scarred). Umpires were corrupt as usual, afl must address the home crowd influencing umpires decisions. Anyone else think that west coast fans are horrible human beings who have a lack of sportmanship and also lack a brain. Hope that pies put them in their place next week. West coast fans can go die in hell. Frustrated at lack of leadership, lewis in particular. So gutted it had to end like this.
  17. 6. Viney 5. Tmac 4. Gawn 3. Nev 2. Clarry 1. Hibberd
  18. Viney was immense, second efforts galore. Bring on the eagles! Up the mighty demons!!!!!!!!!!
  19. All of the players who I thought would be like rabbits in headlights (weid, spargo, fritsch etc.) Were amazing! Weid was bog. Up the mighty demons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. very sad that you won't be able to reap the fruits of your labour. came to us in our darkest era and was an integral part in pulling us out of the rubble. Thank you for everything Bernie, you will be missed.
  21. love the jumper but 300 dollars is pushing it. (below is what it is trying to mimic) going to look great in round 23 jumper from 1919 to 1924
  22. Firstly, Hogan is playing injured and should have been rested for the Gold coast match. Secondly, every player has a bad day, sure a FF should not miss from 20 metres out slight angle, but that is footy and that is life. no need to overreact he has had some really good games for us this year and games in past seasons. everyone should just calm down.
