TRAINING: Monday 13th January 2020
Can’t help thinking we were sold a lemon with May. Ability means nothing when sitting on the sidelines.

TRAINING: Monday 9th December 2019
Todays session should be good practice for the round 1 clash in Perth. ???

Have a hard look at yourself Demonlanders
I agree with your sentiment. It's fantastic that the Dees have been aggressive in their FD staff signings, trades & drafting. Unfortunately the proof is going to be in the pudding. If we dish up 2019 performances (injuries or no injuries - especially if no injuries) in 2020 then it's best you stay away from this forum and other social media because the proverbial will hit the [censored] fan.

First Injury of the Preseason
I blame the surface of Gosch’s Paddock.

2019 Player Reviews: #18 Jake Melksham
The forward line is less functional without Melk. He also had an injury interrupted preseason and it's no coincidence that our form suffered when he was injured.

Why are the Saints so attractive?
The Saints have to play hard ball re: Hill because they can’t give up 2 first round picks (even though they’ve shot themselves in the foot with their contract offer). They’re going to need the 2020 first round and 2021 first round pick to get King from the Suns next year. They can’t keep Bruce this year because they can’t offer him more than 1 year because King will be taking his position in 2021.

I’m not doubting your mail and I’m sure we’re up to our eyeballs in a lot of players. I’m not sure they’re eyeballs deep into us.

He is hopeless, glad we didn’t get him.
He has been photographed touring the Brisvegas facilities. He’s hopeless. Glad we didn’t get him.

No announcement at the Collingwood BnF probably rules out the Pies. Given no Dees announcement yet you’d think he’s now entertaining the offer from the lions. Doesn’t rule us out yet but joining a young exciting lions outfit would definitely be something to consider.

Jamie Elliott
Collingwood's Best and Fairest is on tonight so there will be no announcement that he is leaving the Pies until after that lest he get lynched by a toothless mob. I'm hoping he either stays at the Pies or goes elsewhere because I don't think our supporter base could handle another long term injury to a big name recruit.

2019 Player Reviews: #4 James Harmes
Wasn't as prolific in 2019 as he was towards the end of 2018 but still had a solid year and deserved the top 5 finish in the Bluey. I love the way he goes about it but would like him to take his game to another level next year.

2019 Player Reviews: #2 Nathan Jones
I think it was the right time for Jonesy to step down as Captain. I hope he can still contribute to our rise up the ladder. As the poster above mentioned he only has 14 games to go until 300 and I hope he makes it but he will have to earn his spot in the team. Certainly wasn't our worst player in 2019.

I know he's an unrestricted free agent and all but is anyone worried that Eddie will screw Mahoney over and get him to give up the gate receipts to both Queens birthday and ANZAC Eve for the next 10 years and then Elliott will probably ping his hammy signing the paperwork and Eddie will be like this out of the room .. * joking. sort of.

Finals Week 1
If Gawn had Nic Nat's numbers he would not even be considered for All Australian. I'm surprised the commentators & the AFL haven't crowned Nic Nat King of the Universe.

Jon Patton
We've just completed a year where we couldn't field anywhere close to a best 22 due to having a slew of injured players and you want to bring in a guy who can't get himself onto the park and has had 3 knee recos. If Tommy Mac has ongoing foot issues and Weid can't get his hips right then we are desperate for a key position forward but Jono Patton is the furthest thing from the answer to that problem.

Mad monday celebrations
I haven't seen any images on social media or in the mainstream media of any mad monday demons celebrations so perhaps they were cautioned not to put it out there.

The Stephen Coniglio Thread
Knock back offers from Carlton and Hawthorn and stay at GW$. Gil has to resign. Destroyed the game.

Allowing co-tenants at the MCG has cost us home ground advantage. Let all the other victorian teams play at their suburban [censored] holes.

Yes. There's a good chance we'll all be upset tonight.

Demonland Podcast featuring David Neitz Tuesday (18/6) @ 8:30pm
Another fantastic coup for the Podcast @Demonland. Neita was by boyhood idol. I had number 9 on my back throughout my career. The Dees should get him back to the club to work out it's goal kicking woes.

PREGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
I'm not sure whether we can win this one but I don't think they will thrash us. I hate the description but it will likely be an honourable loss.

Set shot goalkicking
Trac's set shot goal kicking needs to be seriously addressed by the club. It's simply not good enough. I can't just be a confidence thing. He has a beautiful kick on the run.
