This story had to have been a set up either by the management or power brokers at the club. With all their eggs now in a couple of baskets good luck trying to keep any players next year Saints.

Thanks Charlie. Will always be a part of the history of this club.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
You have to assume that the job is Bucks if he wants it and the only reason he won't want it is because he can't bring in his own team whether that be assistants or high performance or both. Given that we don't seem to have much wiggle room in terms of assistants (assume Chaplin, Bassett & Jones are staying and we haven't heard of Selwyn and team getting the boot) I'm wondering if that might be the sticking point and Bucks bows out because of that.

How you doing?
Ironically you have been the most hostile person in this thread and that includes Ollie Fan's attack on passionate Demon fans who dared to have an opinion that differed from his own.

How you doing?
People are entitled to their opinions, positive or negative. That includes being critical of players, coaches, and the club. If you're satisfied with our win-loss record over the past 24 games, then you're ignoring the real issues and that makes you part of the problem. Blaming posters on a supporter forum is pointless. They don’t hold any real power. It seems like your frustration is actually directed at the club’s power brokers, but you don’t want to be seen as critical of them lest you look like a hypocrite for lecturing people about being mean to the coach and then being livid at the club for acting in the best interest of the supporters and club as a whole. I’m genuinely grateful to Simon. He transformed us into a highly competitive team and gave us four to five strong seasons during his tenure. But the last two years marked a decline. While it’s sad to part ways with the coach who delivered us a drought-breaking premiership, it was time. I’m glad the club recognised the need to act decisively. Locking in a new coach early so we can approach the trade period and pre-season with clarity and purpose. Thank you, Simon. You’ll always be remembered for what you achieved.

PODCAST: Rd 01 vs GWS
How good was that start to the third quarter? Within moments, we saw the kind of explosive, direct football that makes us so dangerous when we’re at our best. Twice in quick succession, we surged out of the centre with real intent, slicing through the Giants’ midfield pressure and turning clearance wins into scoreboard impact almost instantly. First, there was the electric dash from Caleb Windsor off half-back, his speed and confidence to take the game on were outstanding. Watching a young player back himself and break lines like that was a real highlight. Then, moments later, it was the midfield brute force of Christian Petracca, who don't argued his way out of the middle and fed the ball to a charging Tom Sparrow, who made no mistake. Two quick goals, pure burst football, and suddenly the momentum was all ours. This is exactly the kind of centre clearance dominance we need to see more often. When we win the ball at speed and surge forward with clean hands and aggressive running, we look almost unstoppable. The challenge, of course, is maintaining that level of intensity and execution consistently across four quarters. So, what do we need to do to ensure this brand of football becomes the norm rather than just a glimpse?

Take a look at this hero, parading around doing a victory, as if the whole messy situation hasn’t laid bare some serious, underlying issues at the club—issues we’ve been painfully aware of for quite some time. If you truly believe that journalists like Morris, McClure, and their cohorts weren’t onto something, you’re fooling yourself. Sure, they have a tendency to sensationalize, mixing truths, half-truths, and a bit of rumor, but if you think there’s nothing to this story, you’re burying your head in the sand. Had Collingwood or Carlton possessed the draft capital, he’d be gone. And to be honest, I couldn’t have blamed him for jumping ship from this sinking Titanic. I’d be angry, [censored] off, and deeply saddened, but at least I’d understand. The notion that there was never any substance to this story is laughable, especially when Trac could have shut it all down on Day 2. Yet here we are, 19 days later, with silence still hanging in the air. Ask yourself why it wasn't shut down? And don't just claim that there was nothing to the reports. Stop acting like you’re the second coming. Our club has a lot of work to do if we’re going to keep Trac and the rest of the team content. If we don’t make significant changes, we’ll be staring down the barrel of a disaster this time next year.

This is exactly what will end up happening. We are spineless at the trade table.

Dying to hear your glowing review of Roffey's interview. I need a good laugh after the last few days of doom and gloom at the MFC.

Do they even have internet in Perth. Might be hard to post to instagram in WA- Christian Petracca
If Trac wants out and wants to go to a bigger club then send him to North for the Picks and LDU and let them deal with his diva demands for a bigger club.- NON-MFC: Round 24
Congratulations Freo on earning my most hated team this season. Embarrassed us once, then beat us again and then couldn't get the job done to end Carlton's season.- Trade Targets
When is trade week this year?- Tom Lynch
Aging and injury prone. No thank you. Prime Tom Lynch when we snagged Maysie then yeah. But nah now.- Christian Petracca
Reckon he's as good as gone but if you want to cheer yourself up then hop on over to his Insta stories and treat yourself to some Ralph Lauren Polo Aftershave for Father's Day.- PODCAST: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
What did the panel think of Kozzie's bump and the resulting 3 match suspension by the MRO? Do you think we will appeal? I know Kozzie has priors with these types of indiscretions but I think in this instance he has a case that he can at least plead in that Moore went to ground and had he kept his feet then perhaps it would have been a fair bump. Kozzie could not have reasonably forseen that Moore would drop like a lollipop. What do you guys think and thanks for the another great season of podcasting?- Kate Roffey
Pot who has never looked in a mirror calls kettle black.- Christian Petracca
My primary concern, even though we haven’t heard any outright denials from Petracca's camp, revolves around the possibility that our club might fail to address the significant issues Trac has with the team's current trajectory on the field. It's clear that the clubs he's rumored to be interested in—Melbourne-based, in the Premiership window, and capable of drawing big crowds to the MCG—simply don’t have the draft assets needed to facilitate a trade. This raises a serious worry: could Trac become so disillusioned with the club’s direction and the way his injury has been managed that he considers stepping away from the game entirely? The thought of losing such a key player, not just to another club but to early retirement, is deeply unsettling. It’s crucial that the club takes his concerns seriously and ensures he feels valued and confident in the team's future. Otherwise, we might face a situation where one of our most important players decides that his best option is to walk away from the game altogether, which would be a huge blow not just to our on-field performance, but to the morale of the club and its supporters. Not to mention the impact from a mental health perspective all of this has on Trac himself. - KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
