What a strange thing to organise well after the premiership particularly after it was earlier revealed that there are members of the team felt isolated (perhaps too strong a word) by not being a part of it. Less focus on bling and more focus on wins Dees.

Were the panel at all surprised by the Best and Fairest results? Not necessarily the Top 5 but some of the other results. I thought. ANB and Spargo were high and Harry Petty was low. James Jordon was in the Top 5 just prior to him being dropped. You would think after winning a flag players would be lining up to join the Demons. I have not heard one player be linked to us with the exception of Grundy and he is only linked to us because Collingwood are desperate to unload some dollars on a player who is injury prone and not in their best 22 anymore and we are in desperate need of a backup ruckmen with LJ leaving us high and dry. LJ leaves after 3 years. Kozzy has one foot out the door and might be gone at the end of next year. Are players not attracted to the Dees because we don't have the dollars to spend? What is it about our club that doesn't attract players if there aren't big bucks on the table?

Harmes had 35 possessions for Casey on the weekend and he's been the unused sub for the past 2 weeks. Can you see him getting a call up this week and if so who makes way for him?

In a word can we still win the Premiership?

If Luke does decide to leave what compensation can we reasonably expect? Not what you think or want but what is the Market Value of what is actually out there to offer?

If this was some fringe Collingwood player he would be suspended for a year, mental health or not.

What time will we find out whether Petty is playing or not?

A perfect round for us would be: Nil all draw Bulldogs vs Filth Hawks knock off Tiges North get a win out of the way over Port Saints knock off the Cats Bombers knock off the Swans Crows knock off the Lions Suns knock off the Dockers Giants knock off the Blues And the Dees win by a record winning margin over the Eagles.

I too ordered on Grand Final night and also the day after and have not received anything nor a notification of shipment but I don't care. I will eventually receive it and wear it proudly come Round 1.

He had a quiet few weeks in the finals but he was immense during the season. Was huge in a few wins early on too. An integral part of the Premiership season.

I seriously doubt that you will be able to have a photo with the Premiership Cup at this event anyway. Can you imagine the line for that? With 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50,000 plus people there (or whatever the cap is) there is simply no way that is logistically possible.

pardon my skepticism but I'm not buying that Brayshaw is ok. Either the reporter is making his own call here or he has asked a club official at training that they've just said "she'll be right". Given the recent history Gus will need to get a scan before being cleared as ok not just a quick looksee in the rooms by the medicos. I would watch this space and take lots of grains of salt. We only now found out that Harmes had surgery via the press and have still not had anything official from the club. Once again poor communication to members in regards to injuries.

Now that we have access to Regional Vic I am heading back to the Goulburn Valley this weekend to visit the folks. I have a whole shed of late 80s and 90s Memorabilia that is currently gathering dust and cobwebs. I'll sort through it and hopefully be able to part with some of it for this. Someone will definitely want my signed Darren Bennett poster. He signed it along his outstretched leg. I also have a signed Todd Viney headband that I wore my entire junior footy career. Last time I checked the signature was still visible. On a serious note though I do have some great framed/signed memorabilia that I could donate. Kudos to the MFC for continuing to raise dollars to keep the Club an unassisted club.
