Im not saying that ET, we are quick to judge but slow to understand. Do not get me wrong i yell and scream about their terrible decisions along with the rest of you, but it really is a no love less job, tell me the last time we had a thread when the umps got it right, or a thread about hardly noticing them? I know the game against the Tiges the umps were great and i hardly remember seeing them. My view on the umps changed when i saw a dozen people dressed up like them in Round 1, cheering for them whenever they made a decision and it really made me think about the absolute crap they go through. They are part of the game, always have been always will be and while they are not accountable for their actions the standard of umpiring will not change. Much like our own teams in the recent past. Only thing is football players are a dime a dozen, umps are not.

Why? Is he even coaching?

I am not convinced about Rawlings, he has been around for a while now and doesn't really seem to be going anywhere, not sure if by choice or talent. Maybe Ben Mathews, but only because I have noticed a trend when coached have been prompted. Structures: Senior Coach - Senior Assistant Coach - Midfield Coach. I am clueless though.

Never played but i would love for any of you to beat me in a 100m sprint in my early teens, I was a quick little bugger, good triple jumper too. Then addictions to multiple things, sex drugs & Nirvana, kicked in and that was the end of any kind of sport i participated in, expect back yeard sport, cricket kick to kick bball soccer. Everyone here complaining about the umpires need to walk in their shoes, I would love to see any one of you try to be an umpire in this game.

After the Essendon game, I cannot shake the "I have no idea what to expect this week" feeling.

Yeah i hope others in the stands heard me when i screamed at him to stay on Nick, he certainly didn't. The overlap of St Kilda was great, they worked their butts off to get into space, i just cannot understand where our players were, I mean you see the turnover and the spread of the opposition and what would the first instinct be? Chase and chase hard. What is their first instinct? Again it comes the the "Someone else can do it" mentality.

I do not think so. 1 What versatility? Being versatile means you can play 2 positions, not sure he can play well at either. 2 I would prefer him as a forward than defender, much better making mistakes in the forward line than the backline. I really want to belive he will improve but i just cannot see it happening, in either position.

It really was just a poor showing all round. I was on the wing with most Dee's supporters and we could all see what was happening. I can understand the need for stick to your guns and let the players work through a poor patch during a game but you cannot let it get to the point of killing their confidence. Ben Ken was another one that was extremely disappointing, just didn't have the hard nose want for the ball, hasn't really had it since the pies game. Needs a spell in the 2's to be reminded that others are willing to work hard every week. So maybe: IN: Oliver, Viv OUT: Salem (con) BenKen (omi) Vince to HB, even though i really dislike him there, Clarry straight swap for BenKen, & VIV is reward for playing well. I know ANB was racking up big numbers but I think Viv is the better option, for now. Should be more dropped but this teams bones are great when they play for each other and are helped out by the coaching staff.

If Jeff cannot play put the back, he does little to nothing.

Seriously, when will people stop calling for Frost to be put in the back line...IT AINT GONNA HAPPEN! He didn't train there once during the preseason, by all the reports, and he wasn't even thrown back there this weekend when Dunn and Hunt were moved forward, Pedo was, get it into your heads, he isn't playing in the back line.

Greg the venom, wish he would bite himself! Well i think Tom "The Eagle" Boyd was one of the rare mistakes the Bulldogs have made in recent trade/draft periods, I just do not see anything in him, like Vickery or Tippett.
