Ok maybe not a revelation - but he's shown more improvement this year than most on our list. Great asset, shouldn't be anywhere near trade talk at this stage IMO
-
Why on earth are people in here talking about trading ANB?!?! He was a revelation this year ...
-
I still have faith he will be good support for Hogan in the years to come. Needs to eat lots of steak over summer and hit the iron hard. I find it hard to question the FD in terms of recruiting lately as they have been stellar - so I trust they see something we may necessarily not.

Yeah man haha <3

Well said pusser, love it Your name must be Alex?

It's Tiger Time...according to a MFC coach

This post is embarrassing. -
Anyone suggesting that Jack can be anything more than he has amounted to already seems either sadistic or delusional to me. The buck must stop with him retreating to his schoolboy ways late in 2017. He's a grown man for god's sake, if he can't commit to more than a handful contests a game and can't take a chest mark I don't care how good his kicking is. He doesn't even rank in our top goal scorers anyway. I've loved him in patches this year, even to the point where I stopped being a critic and started rating him, but his tail end of the season reminded me of why I cannot stand him as a player. Players of his nature are not commensurate with the notion of doing any damage in September whatsoever.

In fairness, I've heard the term "steak knives" in this context. Not so much "steak and knives".

Perhaps the two are related

Terrible, terrible post. Completely devoid of any knowledge of what leadership looks like. He was asked a direct question and answered it. How your mind has gone to where it has is baffling. Now eagerly awaiting the Demonland Social Justice Warriors to come and tell me I'm mean and that it takes courage to post absolute rubbish like this.

Once I feel I have something meaningful to bring up in conversation, that is without uneducated assertions, ridiculous assumptions and baseless finger pointing at the professionals that run our footy team - I surely will start a thread Deespicable. And trust me, if the title wasn't so ambiguous, this would not have been read anywhere near as much as it has.
-
There is literally no ball to play here. It is a thread based off zero facts and evidence, and is clearly just a frustrated fan throwing unnecessary shade at our medical staff after a disappointing loss. P.s Authoring a thread criticising Melbourne's medical staff behind an anonymous online moniker is courageous is it? I suppose you think every kid in a running race should get a ribbon, even if they come last right?
-
Grow up mate, me questioning a pointless post does not make me a "keyboard warrior". In fact if anyone's a keyboard warrior its the armchair physician Farmer, who's differential diagnosis of negligence by Medical staff was brilliantly formulated by seconds of dressing room footage of Kent looking sad. Are we sure Farmer isn't actually Dr Gregory House M.D?
-
Reading stuff like this is so infuriating. You've essentially just called out Melbourne's medical staff as being negligent based on a few seconds of TV coverage. Who are you exactly to make such a statement? Seems to me that people like you simply like the sound of their own voice.
-
So drop him after one game back - that'll get him up to AFL standard for sure lol
-
So if I take the option to resign, I've still been fired? The implications are totally different between the two from a legal perspective.
-
I do actually. Interested to see where your going with this now ...
-
Well you seem to have the full facts surrounding this issue. Care to share them with the rest of us?
-
Who did the AFL sack today? From what I can tell, 2 execs resigned ...
-
Anyone suggesting the women involved should resign as well are showing a complete lack of understanding of the situation, especially from a legal perspective. God damn it AFL, your execs should know better ...
-
3 things in life are certain - Death, taxes, and a Demonlander finding something to whinge about, regardless of how far we've come and how great this year has been already. P.s are you a physiotherapist or a sports scientist? If the answer to both is no, I have no idea why you are speculating on what's best for our injured players in terms of recovery. I'm quite sure we pay a bunch of qualified people serious money to make these calls.
-
Australian men of the great war/s didn't charge machine gun pits with bayonets so people can cry over comments on an online forum. Borderline embarrassing.
-
The argument is far simpler in my mind right now - we already have 2-3 genuine elite midfielders, but we don't have any genuine elite KPDs. Ergo Lever. Apologies to Frost and Omac who have been wonderful, but I don't see them as elite. Hope they prove me wrong in the years to come by continuing their development at current trajectory. Wouldn't bank on that though.
-
The fact we're still a top 5 clearance team after 16 rounds and have been ravaged by injury effecting our midfield this year I'd argue our focus may better be served elsewhere. We're almost elite in this category already IMO, continue to let guys like Tyson develop and we'll be fine in this area of the ground.
-
How many mids do we need?! All I care about at the end of the year is Lever I think ...
