  1. Thought Goodwin coached really well on the weekend
  2. Right when our key forwards have finally started to click? Not a chance in hell Thanks for your service BBB. I hope we find an appropriate way to recognize his contributions to the club, just not with a gifted game when we have the chance to end a frustrating season on a high note.
  3. Realistically, no. Mathematically, yes. Let me dream man.
  4. He is statistically having his best season in many years if we look at fantasy points. Never let data get in the way of a good yarn hey.
  5. Oh [censored] off you miserable [censored]
  6. The thought of potentially denying Collingwood a finals run is extremely arousing
  7. First to put my hand up and say I spat the dummy early in a rare game day thread contribution from me. If we play like that with a good run of injuries next year then there’s no reason we won’t be right in the thick of it again. JVR showing we might not need to bring in a KPF in after all. Disco and Petty both excellent as well. Game of the year for Jack, could really sense he was out for blood today and ended up soundly beating Rowell. Langdon immense, Rivers ok but his disposal is very suss at the moment. Good win from the lads, really happy with the way we went about it today.
  8. We are a putrid football team. I hate watching us play at the moment.
  9. Depends on what metrics you use. I'll reserve my judgement for the end of her tenure on the topic of whether we have secured a new home base. This is the type of thing executive leaders are there to achieve in footy clubs. Any suggestion the playing or coaching group draw any energy from people like this would be fanciful at best.
  10. Always loved ANB, I wish him all the best in fatherhood and his future footy club. He will be hard to replace for his gut running and defensive pressure. The club absolutely should do the right thing by him and let him go, regardless of what we get in return. Premiership players deserve that respect. On the other hand, he's always been a butcher of the ball so the bright side is we'll have one less of those types on the list.
  11. Because player agents strategically leak stuff like this all the time. They don’t give a stuff about the club, all they care about is getting the best possible contract for the player.
  12. These are the sorts of pea-brained takes that have been increasing on this forum for some time. Just remembered I can ignore accounts here. Wonderful.
  13. I can’t wait to see Trac, Clarry, and Viney on the park next year so DL can finally see how truly full of [censored] you are
  14. Thought we played a lot better last night. Lacked the polish to finish the job against a red hot contender though. Loved Kozzie’s game. Absolutely embarrassing reactions in here. I would hate to think about how some people here deal with real problems in life judging by the way you react to a footy game. Bunch of miserable [censored] making this forum more unbearable by the day.
  15. Sparrow and a future first sounds about right to me. I'll be dirty if we trade our way out of the first round this year for a 28 year old half back (as good as he is)
  16. If he is so intellectually limited as to decide whether he comes to us based on a single game at the end of a down year for us then I don’t want him
  17. Not sure Jeffo is ready. Jack Watts' debut still haunts me.
  18. No words in this thread will have any sort of effect on how things play out. The club will part with Goodwin when they feel the time is right. Judgement should be reserved once his tenure is complete, not during. He's lead this team to a flag before, no reason he can't do it again. I'm confident we'll be right in it again next year if we get a better run of injuries. Injuries has had a huge toll this year, along with Clarry's preseason. Resilience is required, both from the playing group and some very reactionary supporters around here.
  19. A few people here have an extremely unhealthy emotional attachment to this footy club. Get help.
  20. I know, we watched a game at Eastlakes together a few years ago remember? I’m just down the road from you in Bungendore
  21. Pass. Can't stand his haircut.
  22. Dog's are in great form but we've been living in their heads since 2021. Last 2 times we've faced them we've smashed them to bits. Reckon it'll be a close game that could go either way. Out: Billings, Bowey In: Sparrow, Hore
  23. I live in Canberra. Is that sufficient reason, your highness?
  24. I don’t think last night was a disaster by any means. Actually loved how we fought hard till the end. Obviously the second and third quarters weren’t ideal. We are a 2-3 goal better team with Petracca playing and I believe we’d have won at least 2 more games since he went down with him out there. Breathe. We have a very promising young list at this stage. We’ll be right in the thick of it again next year with some luck injury wise.
  25. 1. Collingwood 2. Geelong 3. Essendon 4. Carlton This evening I had the absolute pleasure of watching my 4th most hated team lose a game of footy. Happy days
