I have liked many of your posts but sometimes l have scratched my head with you being ruthless with a player because he does not satisfy your liking for the way he plays. I don't think you mean it sometimes. He has his faults but his football this year has been more consistent without hitting the scoreboard with the so called goals. Petrac has held his own and is well entrenched in our best 22. IMO he will get better and if traded what makes you so sure the he will be the equal or better. The chances are they won't be better. And for the kids sake he Petrac probably needs a break or rest like some we are carrying at the minute. He can play better footy because he has the potential however depends what you and others think what his best footy looks like.

Saw many games with Neita and the OOOOOOZ ! Neita would kick his 3 to 5 goals and have his 2 to 3 goal assists on many occasions and you could rely on him to be involved. He just knew where the goals were being a confident kick even from 50 metres out.Come to think of it how often he would kick a goal from set shots. IMO he played his best games on the forward line . Adem Yze a dangerous Half forward wingman type but loved a goal and kicked many in his time a reliable kick at that.However not overly quick but would bob up when the going was tough and make his presence felt. I don't know where else on the ground that Oscar can play. His kicking to position is not precise most of the time playing on the forward line you need to use brains to out smart you oposite and pull down marks for his size in packs. Expect to get a good knock in the head every now and then which won't please him. I suspect he could be used in the Backline when we are desperate again however you will have to wait your turn Oscar as Frosty is entrenched there and Harrison Petty has now gone past you. Yes of course he does make mistakes . You see if he didn't he would be perfect. You can play him at full forward and he wouldn't drop the mark or miss goals would he. Just kick it to him. However they all make mistakes and the ball gets turned over. Gawny makes less mistakes and we give him the benefit of the doubt not like some who don't learn from their's they just keep making them. Without Gawn we would struggle as a team he is good at his craft and vital to our cause as we all noticed in 2017.He is the vital piece of the team. Viney was hand fed well today. Watch the replay. He went through Walters with a hip and shoulder and gave the free and a 50 away when he didn't need to do. The 50 wasn't there IMO However he was backing Lockhart for a hit he took from Walters the thug. Jones did his job today and did it well.
