It’s a tough run home, but Thursday night showed that our best is a fair way ahead of anyone else. If we can get enough wins to finish top two, the flag is ours to lose.

Totally agree. Brisbane were powerless to stop it, and they are supposedly next best. Good luck to the rest of the competition

The solution to our under performing forward line, is for the forward line to start performing. Petty is a defender. He has learnt his craft as a defender for the past 2 to 3 years in a system based environment. This isn’t junior football. Ben and Mitch Brown will be the tall forwards this week. Ben Brown will start kicking goals, lock it in.

Fully agree with this. Jackson is flying under the radar with regards to the blame game on here. He needs to decide where he is going to be playing his footy next year, because I think at the moment that is really affecting his game

Listening to Goodys presser, I don’t think Weideman will come in. So it will be Brown and Brown again. Also said TMac would have scans during the week! May will come in for Tomlinson, who was way off the pace. I think Hibberd should come in, probably for Hunt. I would like to see Bedford in the 22. Maybe Gus gets into the midfield rotation, and Sparrow out? Quite a few players are down on form, the only way to get that back is to play. Yesterdays game could have gone either way, let’s not forget that.

Unfortunately for Sam, other than a handful of games, he has never shown much “confidence”. And if it is the case that he he is unsure of what to do out there, then that in itself is a huge problem for someone in their seventh year. Max is playing. Goodwin said so in his press conference. He also said they are not interested in resting players. What I take from that is that we have a group who do not want to miss games due to niggling type injuries. It has been instilled in him by the fitness staff. It is no wonder we are the best team in the competition.
