  1. Windsor - wingman give somewhat of a free licence to roam half-back flank to forward zone, depending on the match circumstances. He'd eat the coverage required, is potent and has the smarts. A Stanley Alves, in my opinion.
  2. Stellar year coming up, for Chin ... feel it in my bones ... space-finder, unflappable for the ball, great kick from 50 m out from the sticks. Just watch!! (:-))
  3. It also has to be balanced against the negligent claims and tirades of disrespectful, opportunity-knocks, put-down observers in the media, riddling in other clubs with their loyalties and fanciful desires as if the player concerned, the Club concerned and the general public are open and malleable-enough to believe, or accept or focus on such utter tripe churned out in the name of income or stirring of excrement for advantage.
  4. Yes, he has talent but his history is a little disappointing; however, I have (consequential to being under Max's influences) some hope and if he is currently training well enough to acquire certain praise from DL observers, then perhaps, moreso.
  5. That would be very nice - an early workout and assessment where talent resides.
  6. Great clip. Apart from his complement of overwhelming footy skills - par excellence - he really did have the best drop punt in the game and a great sense of space in which his wizardry could be utilised. I found it too difficult to view the whole clip - too sad - the memories hurt like hell. You are never forgotten, Robbie.
  7. Once he settles into a regular haircut (please God), the Fritch could be the wanton forward-line exploiter, thanks to the definite strength of our recruiting outcomes. Whilst he can take a mark, if needed, he also finds space within the parameters of his kicking distance - and we are not here to assess his his goal-scoring aptitudes - Fritta is going to set records he could not imagine. Carna Demons, now coaches, exploit it !!!!
  8. Fully agreed, and now, inter-media advertising opportunities enable them to sell their souls - and loyalties - as a sign of success. Most know 2/5ths of 1/3rd of FA.
  9. I have my suspicions that Chandler is being developed for the role. A very good runner, tough at it, a great kick, gets the goals, evasive and prepared to two-way getting into the play, tough as nails, gives out free body contacts both offensively and defensively. Tank - not sure it can be brought up to ANB's standard but certainly, one of the best up forward.
  10. We might show a bit of mongrel towards them, too. Particularly if we get a few goals up, and now, do we think we have the human capital to so do? I reckon - in all sizes - we might jolt the Filth menacingly and in a very sustained manner - we owe them two or three 'accidents' at least, and another handful for the memories.
  11. Ain't it the bitter truth?
  12. That drift towards capability is chugging along nicely, in the background; frustratingly, it is yet to erupt, slaying opponents in surprising ways. Cannot wait until the season starts ...
  13. Hardeman's jumper.
  14. You're obviously from Geelong.
  15. It's a tough call on the humble snag roll, agreed. I once lived near a great bakery that made huge phlegm sandwiches (vanilla slices) really well - after a year of having a couple each week, I stopped this treat and lost nearly eight kilos within 5 months. Diet does seem to be important, heh?
  16. I must say, Disco, that offering 'no pressure' as you have done is extremely gracious of you. The selected blend of skills and attributes is most appealing, as well. Let us all, forthwith, join you in the hope that Jeffo rises to the occasion, develops traits that emulate your fancies and proves to be Heaven-sent to meet such a challenge. No pressure!
  17. I would like to hear (as I now live afar from Melb) more about Johnson, not just in photos/live images but also from track-watchers and critical eye analyses. So far, Johnson seems to have raised a few comments; I wish to find out how he might play in the side as a deep forward and back-up ruck for Max. Can anyone assist?
  18. Good comparative observation, air-space, immediate ground protection keeping defenders 'outside that zone' as preparation for a mark. Also a characteristic, at times, of several forward players from the Hawks dominant decade - perhaps a John Kennedy influence?
  19. might be an attempt to teach them how the ball should be delivered to those playing forward in a regular fwd line - what doesn't work (lesson) and what might work (reinforcement) ...

  21. Nailed it...just add pace as one of the ancillary requirements in so doing.
  22. Wonderfully confirming news, Tracca is our winner.
  23. Smart ... but a bad choice most probably.
  24. i hope that is the case in plan ... rotate with Big Max deep forward, p'haps?
