  1. At the ground, good atmosphere. What a start from the boys! Carn Dee's!
  2. Just that his last month hasn't been great and needs to refind his form
  3. Oh also the Casey v Williamstown game is televised next week!
  4. His kicking is 50/50, just like the rest of the Melbourne boys, but his decision making is usually pretty great. They come up against Williamstown next week who are smashing the VFL this season, so I'm not expecting him to have a huge impact, but will be a good test for him, to see if he can maintain his form against the best.
  5. Technically if they lose the next 2 and Werribee win the next 2 by big margins, they could drop to 9th, but Casey percentage is good enough and the next 2 games are at home where they haven't been beaten in over 18 months so they should be right.
  6. From the VFL website- CASEY DEMONS Goal Kickers: B. Fritsch 4, Y. Zijai 3, B. Kennedy 3, L. Hulett, C. Salem, E. Morris, A. Ferreira, C. Porter, J. Kennedy-Harris, J. Watts Best Players: D. Keilty, B. Kennedy, J. Trengove, C. Salem, B. Stretch, Y. Zijai Was a great day out. I sat next to Sam Frost for half the game in the grandstands, and we had a good chat about him, Dec, and a few of the other boys who were playing (Salem, Kenno, Watts) Was pretty awesome. Keilty is in AFL form, his last 2 months have been sensational. Last week and today were the 2 best game's I've ever seen him play. Being in the business end of the season, I doubt he'll get a debut, but keep an eye on him over preseason, and he might just become a great player for the Melbourne Footy Club.
  7. Probably not, he was good without being great
  8. I saw it, he lined him up and took him out clean. Pretty dirty really, definitely not accidental
  9. Keilty absolutely killing it in defence. Up to about 9 marks, most of them contested/intercepts
  10. Yeah apparently there are a couple of sore boys so the MFC have decided to hold 2 emergencys. Down back, playing a typical KPD role
  11. Not playing, being held out as an emergency. Salems in big trouble, might be out for the rest of the season on suspension. Keiltys hands have been unbelievable today
  12. Great opening term. Watts playing well. Stretch, Kennedy and Trengrove getting plenty. Keilty already up to 4 intercept marks
  13. Just heard that Frosty is being heldover as an emergency for tomorrow
  14. Watts and Salem definitely playing today, still haven't spotted Frost though
  15. Wind has really picked up, blowing towards the southern end, or the right side if looking from the grandstand boundary
  16. Just arrived, fairly windy down here but seems to be blowing accross the ground rather then favouring one end today. Developemnet league scores nearing the end of the 2nd quarter at NB 5-4-34 to Casey 3-2-20
  17. Neither is Frost but he's playing too, like I said earlier, don't trust the teams that the VFL put out publically, it's always wrong. The team list they handed in tonight would have had both Salem and Frost in.
  18. Nah Salem is defientely playing for Casey tmoz
  19. Yeah makes sense. In other news Casey should kill it tomorrow, Watts and Fritsch leading up forward, with King and Spencer to chop out, and Frosty, Dec and Hutchins commanding down back, and at home. Look for a big win.
  20. Not even the players can figure out why Maynard was dropped
  21. Nah he will play forward. Don't trust the team lists the VFL put out, the players are always all over the place to where they will actually end up playing.
  22. Yeah that's weird, pretty sure Salem, Frost and Watts are all playing for Casey tomorrow
