Speaking of Weideman he just took an impressive mark going back with the flight and stabbed a fantastic pass to Pedo in the pocket, and against a swirling win pedo nails a low belter through the posts!!! Gus has been fantastic, a little fumbly which you can expect from being out of the game for so long but has been going in hard and has had a lot of disposals Casey just got another great team goal against the wind to be 7-7-49 to Essendon 5-8-38

yeah Sammys playing but the Essendon defenders have really out a lot of work into, he has gotten a few touches though

Essendon was very good defencily that quarter but with the wind Casey came back for both teams to be 4-6-30 at half time

Going against a strong wind Casey are fighting very strongly and even get a couple of goals against the grain to come into quarter time 2-1-13 to the Dons 4-5-29. Playing some pretty great football all round.

Despite a late surge by the Blues, Casey hold out and finish strongly to win 7-12-54 to the Blues 5-9-39 Not a lot to report. Hulett had a really strong last 15 minutes of the game, having a number of key defensive touches but before that was pretty quiet and quite wasteful. I didn't see the first half of the game so maybe he played better then but not great signs. Don't think so, the wind seems to be keeping it away about the wind real quick, it isn't blowing a massive gale towards one end or anything just a very cold swirling breeze across the ground

Just arrived, half time Casey lead 3-5-23 to 3-4-21 Northern Blues in the development league. It's not wet but a very cold and windy night down here at Casey Fields. Only saw the last 5 minutes of the quarter but I didn't notice Hulett was even on the ground until they walked off into the rooms.
