But he is a good player not an on field leader like a hodge/Selwood (tough comparisons). He leads with his actions and doesn’t inspire or conduct players.. We need a smart captain who has game sense that can make coaching calls on the field befor the runner is sent out to do it.. Going forward for me. If we miss the finals again. Viney should be made the sole captain. Because he is a bull that stands up and fights even more than Jones.

My changes would be. OUT Harmes, Wagner, Jetta, Melksham IN Pedo, Hunt, Joel Smith, Balic, I’ve lined them up as I see them being replace. Harmes can’t back up in the ruck and go fwd and he isn’t getting enough around the ground. Pedo straight in. Hunt has had his wake up call while Wagner has continued to flounder.. Hunt gives us pace in the back line. Jetta needs a spell at Casey for confidence and Joel Smith gives us more flexibility in the air and at ground level. Melksham isn’t kicking goals not setting them up, Balic has put some form together, let’s have a look at him. I’d like to see Lever start Fwd to try and throw out Richmond’s defence, Joel Smith can cover Levers marking down back. Move Vince to a wing and let’s start the middle with Jones Oliver Brayshaw Gawn. Hogan FF Petracca FP Lever FF And Pedo CHF.. We need structure!! Also if Tyson is Fit I would look at a 5th change.
