  1. I'm not nessasarily saying we need another key fwd. Just more forwards/players who can kick goals! Another Garlett or Kent or Watts?
  2. Valid points.. But midfielders kicking goals is a must/bonus.. we need more Fwd/Mids like a Dalhaus or Parker or Grey
  3. Keep them coming if you can find players I. The last 5-10 years who have come close to 100. Also who Should we be looking at?
  4. Re: Dunn Good pick up! Didn't come to mind given his last 4-5 were in defence.
  5. I think our defence is close to being set. They are clearing banking on Oscar McDonald developing into our 3rd Keyback and it's also interesting to see Liam Hullet going to the Defence for Casey. But we need Goal Kickers! Pertracca will be a gem and I'm hoping harmes becomes a 30-40 goal a year player like Parker and obviously Kent has the potential to do the same.. But we need another Key Forward/Mid Fwd option!
  6. Yeah looking forward to atmosphere. Hoping they go in with te same mindset North did at Hobart.
  7. (Updated to Rd 15 2017) Had the day off and looked up the AFL tables. Jack Watts 149 Games 141 Goals Nathan Jones 235 Games 115 Goals Jesse Hogan 48 Games 98 Goals Jeff Garlett 55 Games 103 Goals Dean Kent 56 Games 55 Goals Christian Pertracca 34 Games 35 Goals (20 this season from 14 games) James Harmes 36 Games 24 Goals Jeremy Howe 100 Games 80 Goals Lynden Dunn 165 Games 97 Goals Liam Jurrah 36 Games 81 Goals* Brad Green Last 53 Games 111 Goals 2010-2012 (254 Games 350 Goals) Our last player to Kick 100 Career Goals was Nathan Jones (last year) and before him Jack Watts. Jesse Hogan now only needs 6 more to hit the "mythical career ton" & Garlett (At Melbourne) needs another 12. The last to get close was Liam Jurrah with 81 (we all know why that never happened) and Dean Kent with 52 from 54. Excluding Jones who is a midfielder and when you think that almost half of Watts goals have come in the last two years (after being drafted in 2008) You have to go back to Brad Green who finished his career with 350 goals, kicked 111 in his last 53 games. While we are improving and our midfield develops what we lack is genuine finishers. I think Melbourne need to go after the best proven forwards & forward mids we can trade/find/draft in the off season. Off the top of my head. Luke Bruest comes to mind? Thoughts?
  8. Foolishly Booked a Plane Tickets to the Adelaide game at the start of the year with a good mate. Going in with very low expectations given where both clubs are at. After seeing Richmond start well against them and get blown out of the water.. We can't afford any dead weight and Disposal Eff must lift. We'll need a 4qtr effort to lose by 20 points.. OUT JKH Wagner Hannan IN Kent Stretch Harmes
  9. 1. If anyone has already posted this my bad. But it's happened all season. Every long ball into our defence there is always 3-4 melbourne players flying at the ball and more commonly than not, their opponents stay down crumb the obvious self spoiled attempts and waltz into easy goals.. 2. Theres waiting for the right option and then there is absolutely stupidity.. The lack of urgency in the last minute was beyond a joke.. no from outside 50 wanted the ball in their hands to kick the winning goal.. And I thought he had an improving game (big critic of him) Oscar McDonald.. Why he and also Salem to 3-4 seconds to wheel around and kick it to the top of the goal square?? Honestly.. even in BT picked up that the runners were yelling how much time there was!! Apart from a few not enough in this side wanna step up and "Be the Man!"
  10. Unfortunately this is about as close to a line in the sand this club will ever get..
  11. It's all about the delivery into the fwd line.. Compare the silver service Roughead got to Hogan.. our midfield are more likely to try and handball it 50 instead of kicking it ATM..
  12. He kicked it against Collingwoods VFL team while Reid was rested and Dunn was playing AFL..
  13. No no no no. Make Weid earn it. Only change should be Hogan if his is ready.
  14. Hope all of those Demonlanders who didn't rate him eat a big fat sh#t filled humble pie.. You know who you are!
  15. Playing our 3rd win at Etihad in 3 years will be a pass mark!
