Aaah the magic of Meghan. Earrings to empower women Great album btw https://youtu.be/wJICYtDmH7Q

He seemed really flat last week. Might be a bit burnt out?
-
Fair enough, it's new territory for me. I wasn't sure of the process. If there's a simple way to pass on the slot to someone, that sounds good.

I emailed the club today and suggested they provide a manged way for stranded members to transfer their GFG to other Dee's supporters who can make it. The wife and I are in Northern NSW so we are at very long odds to get a chance to go. #thanksgladys A break between Prelim and the Granny is a great idea to allow people to arrange travel if they can.
-
It would be a good consolation to know that my GFG slot is used by a Dee's supporter rather than wasted
-
Just imagine if he snuck one or two snags every week.
-
I think they used betamax instead of VHS for that one
-
I watched James Jordan practically walk after his opponent who gathered two possessions going forward. They seem so lazy and listless
-
They're kicking straight now. Lookout
-
This game still has a seedy smell about it.

Geez 3 goals 6 behinds 3 oof We're really lucky to this point

Young bloke has a chance to play deep into the finals. Should be busting his guts

@hardtack we're in NSW as well so we're screwed. I'd like the club to manage GFG re-allocation of tickets should we make it and it's in Perth or Adelaide. I want as many true demons fans at the game as possible. It think it's really important. We can do it individually via demonland but it would be nice for the club to manage it and ensure as many supporters as possible show up for us. Otherwise, the AFL will use the unused allocation to make money. We could even do a donation system with Reach as well perhaps. I'll write to the club as well. What do others think? P.s. I'm still considering stowing away on a Perth bound semi or hiring a demonland super Yacht and sneaking over. What's the great Southern Ocean like this time of year?

I.e Viney elbow to the head vs Yeo elbow to the throat. Plus a heap of other suspensions. Hopefully a couple of premierships will change things of us being soft targets. Anyways, will have to watch -
Well all clear then. Nothing in it

Great idea @Jaded and I'm up for it too. The wife and I have grand final preferences slots and I would hate to see them go to waste. We're in NSW, so we have fa chance of going anywhere in September thanks to Ms Gold Standard who saved Australia. p.s. sorry to ACT today. oh and to Vic for the extra covid clowns who flew from Sydney to Melbourne yesterday and had a whole plane of people have to quarantine. anyways, I assume they haven't discussed a NSW hub?
-
Could they miss the finals but still have their supporters turn up to boo both teams for the final series? I could really see them do it. And walk away claiming they were robbed.

Hey @Cranky FrankyI haven't got around to reading this work yet. I've read both Bill Gammage's Greatest Estate on Earth and Dark Emu. They tend to align quite closely in that aboriginal people managed the landscape very sensitively to their advantage. I would call it farming. I guess part of it is your definition of what agriculture or farming is. I do know that Bruce's heritage and work has been systematically attacked by a small number of influential people. I know its taken a heavy personal toll on him (via friends I have who know him). I wouldn't say his work has been dunked and is full of errors. Not from what I've read and some of the first nations people I've listened to. This seems to be a balance view: https://theconversation.com/book-review-farmers-or-hunter-gatherers-the-dark-emu-debate-rigorously-critiques-bruce-pascoes-argument-161877 I do find it interesting they've written a book about another book, but it I'll probably look to read it to get a balanced view. Everyone has a different truth I guess. It's why I think truth is so important and some in this country aren't willing to embrace it yet. It's not about getting over it, its about facing up to it and owning it. Anyways, Go Dees! -

Thanks Bobo. Eddie is right, It is up to us white fellas not to step over this stuff anymore. For me, it's starts with this nation confronting the truth of the hurt and harm inflicted on First nations people. Also, the truth of what an incredible culture exists here and to truly appreciate and embrace it. There's much for us to learn. I'd really recommend reading Bruce Pascoe's Dark Emu to anyone who wants to learn some more. There's a kids version available too. It's a great read. Truth, Treaty, Voice -

He's a beauty alright. He must have kicked that goal into the breeze too as it was the non scoring end I think. It was So important to us at that point. Nailing goal kicking opportunities may make us or break us in September. I love Pickett's toughness, chasing and pressure just as much as his offensive skills. I think he'll develop into the best small forward in the league. -

Yeo did it to Pickett right on the half time siren. Pickett should have got a fifty as well but he didn't. He just went back and slotted a beautiful fifty metre goal on the siren. -
I think Nic Nat is getting man booooobs

Great quarter. We really didn't need to be in a wrestle in the last.
