GAMEDAY: AFLW Rd 03 vs St Kilda
Looking like an arm wrestle when we needed a good win. Just not clean enough with posessions and kicking at goal. Hope this doesn't turn into the loss that costs us at the end of the season.

Three good passages of play where she wrecked it by kicking mongrels.

Great running pass by Hoare to Harris who marks and kicks a goal for us. Saints 8 Dees 6

Good pressure by the Saints. We're really rushing every possession because of it. Domnated by the saints so far but we're defending pretty well. Saints by 7

Is it time to reset the Chris Sullivan line?
I think it stands and I look forward to many games of watching us hit that line HARD. I loved the fact the players supposedly got the message to ice the game in the last QTR and they evidently laughed and kept running. As mentioned above, there were lots of years where we got five goals up and wobbled. Lots of post game threads wondering why we weren't ruthless enough. Keep the bar set high at 8 goals I reckon. It would be interesting to know how many games we've won since that Essendon game by 48 points or more and how long it will take us to surpass that win tally. I wonder how many games we lost by 48 points or more versus won by 48 points. I want to see more reverse floggings where we are the flogger not the flogee (geez this sounds wrong). You know what I mean.

Did Selwood or Dangerfield get a run?

GAMEDAY: AFLW Rd 1 vs Western Bulldogs
Yeah, she scampered for home before the end of the season last year. She's in the squad but maybe not back yet?

GAMEDAY: AFLW Rd 1 vs Western Bulldogs
Yeah me too. She's tough as nails and just got better as the season went on last year. Anyways, I think I banged on about team selections at the start of the year for the blokes last year and look what happened.

Anyone know why Sinead Goldrick isn't back in the team? We really missed her run off half back at the end of last season. Great to see the girls back into it. Go Dees

Clayton Oliver Interview
Yeah, his kicking is something else now. He's really improved this area of his game. https://youtu.be/zGpM5o6q34Y

2022 Fixture
Coming down from northern NSW. Had to miss the celebrations. I'm not missing the grand old flag going up. The only way to get a prime time Friday slot is to keep winning flags and grow our supporter base right across the country. TV Ratings rule. It's a bummer about the annual leave we will burn for this but we'll be there with you all. Let's fill the G and smash them again. Can't wait.

TRAINING: Monday 6th December 2021
By the look of those photos, Tomlinson might have stolen Jack's spot as the angry beast of the team. He wants back in.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Makes up for that one that looked like a goal that Max kicked in the second QTR I think. I was spewing at the time.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
It wasn't that long ago that we were all complaining about how we couldn't put teams away. Geez we've found another one or two gears now.

Throwing away the whistle on GF day.
I'd be happy if they put the whistle away all bloody year. Usually makes for a much better game.

3 More Years for Chris Scott
We had to buy a couple of snails for our fish tank Recently to suck up the scum. We called them Joel and Patrick. I think Joel has gone into his shell or died.

Nev Jetta Joins the Magpies
Just love the bloke. Great pick up by the pies. Geez he's got the job ahead of him. Kinda like leaving the foo fighters to play for John Farnham

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
His performance on the field when the game was in the balance and then that interview post match we're just bloody wonderful.

Farewell Neville Jetta
Yes, he always seemed to matched up on players bigger than him. The amount of crunches he took in packs and would just get up and go again. Can't even imagine what it would have been like some years the way that footy would just keep on being rammed into our defense and he'd just keep putting his body on the line. Always will be a favourite for me and I hope the club keeps him on.

Your favourite grand final photo
A thing of beauty. Our game is beautiful and our team is the best in the world at it. Love it

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Not sure if it's been mentioned but one of my favourite post game pieces was Goody and Tracc doing the presser. Really honest and from the heart. Amazing how he shared that he shed a few tears on Friday night before the game. How proud he was of the group. Really worth a watch. POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
The media focus has been on Jones but Gee Nev has been a true leader at the club. I sent Nev a message Saturday around lunchtime thanking him for getting us to this position and all the joy he's given us watching him play with so much courage and skill through those dark years. He sent me back a message at 2.30 in the morning saying "I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did" It was a wonderful gesture by Kysiah to try and give home his medal. So good to see the whole squad involved throughout the whole final series. The way past players, families and supporters have been acknowledged along the way What a wonderful inclusive club we have.
