Fair point. To me it was a double wammy as Brown always kills us and Im not a great jkh fan.Other than that we have done some awesome recruiting that needs to be tweaked as Im sure it will.

Out Watts if we could..... His disposal is usually great but how often does he take the game by the scruff like Reiwoldt? He just seems so average of late and he is one of our most experienced players with 150 games. Look at Hannon for goodness sake he kicked 3 to jacks zilch. Where is this guys passion? But for sure Weid.......should not have been in all year. Even if he got 20 touches a game he just does not kick any goals

Yea ....should have called it a day when Gawn went down and then Spencer....add Hogans problems and it was always going to be a bad year. The good news is get rid of 4 or 5 list cloggers again (and we know who they are), recruit an experienced defender and another tall experienced STRONG forward or 2 and we should be fine. Agreed seen some great stuff from this guy....marking, smothers, tough tackles and awesome goal snaps. He will surprise many.

Nice post Billy. Points wise we are equal to last years efforts. The big difference being we could have and should have won all the games we have lost. Poor kicking against Geelong, Brain fades against Freo and Hawthorn..... Injuries against Tigers have seen us think WTF. Our triumphs though have been awesome. Smashing our saints voo doo at Ethiad....the epic win in Adelaide. WOW. Last year we ran out of puff but this year I get the feeling that your comments about getting key players back will see us storm home. I think we can make finals.....the top 8 will be tighter than a ducks .. Perhaps 12 will get us in. Once there though we would be the wildcard I guess. Wouldnt it be awesome to see the Dees in a final again. Talk about breaking embarrassing records.

Agreed about our midfield. It hasnt been rated by media in the past but when Viney plays his best and combines with the young gun Oliver and old guns Jones and lewis....its pretty awesome.....even without our start ruck.

You almost dont realise how bad the side was until you look at all the records. Sides must have waited with anticipation to play us and worse....... our team expecting to lose. So proud of the win against Hawks last year....Saints and crows this year. Lets follow up with a win this week and next. Last time 3 in a row?
