Was just reading team stats for the year and discovered that we r number one for possessions and top 4 for goals scored. Huge improvement on last year. Not confident for west coast but was the same with crows and dogs so to quote Viney: Anythings possible.

I wonder how much time Gawn will play. I think he will spend a quarter the bench and a quarter up forward. All we have to do up forward is get the ball down on the ground and let Garlett and company do the rest. Jeffy is on fire this year. Trac in midfield is smart. Vince in midfield is an option as I'm not sure hes suited to being in the backline. Jones is the only out then which is unfortunate (that punch of his was fantastic) but I doubt he will miss Swans game....hes a tough as they come.

All I know is hes now got the runs on the board. Some interesting selections at times but he gets an A plus in every other area. This club isnt just doing well it has a pool of young talent that will only keep getting better.

Maybe now the belief factor will help: the old " It cant be done because its never been done" Like the 4 minute mile. After it was broken it was smashed. Heard someone say that your not a serious contender without five or six high quality players competing for selection. For everyone its clearly Gawn and Hogan. Who are the other 4, assuming everyone from dogs game is included?

Starting to understand how poorly Pedo was treated by not being selected for many games. At least now the FD knows he is in our best 22.

No doubt we have been flying under the radar until now. Media have forgotten we lost 2 games under a goal as well as 1 from poor kicking (geelong) and 1 from injuries (rich). Add in the best AFL ruckman missing as well as a talented full forward out and we have been ignored by many. Perhaps now they will pay attention to a club that is full of young talent and seriously going places. After a decade of darkness.......the future is very bright.

Cant remember seeing a player improve so much. He was a superstar today. There have been times when we were all scratching our heads over him. He played like a 200 gamer today with so much confidence and poise.
