Garland has been very good at times i the past but also very poor. He has quite a bit of talent but in some ways he reminds me of J howe. They both don't seem to have the necessary ammount of intent and hunger to win. I hope I'm wrong and he bounces back and becomes a great defender.

Yea how was the push and shove towards the end in the forward line wen they all came in to back up the melb player who just goaled i think it was tyson or frost. I love the way hogan struts in and starts pulling cwood payers off his team mates.

Whatever I say.....I said he worked his hardest. Best game to date. I think he was more motivated today like the rest of the team. I think he plyed very well in the seconds last week hence his selection. Maybe you think it was wrong to imply he hasnt been playing his best...... There were a few horible and hospital handballs but great intensity from the captain and incredible number of touches. I did think Matt Jones was good today and last week.

Oliver possibly needs a rest. Hunt will be dropped. Lumumba will stay. Tyson will stay. Matt Jones may be under the pump.

Im not sure Hunt has fully cemented his spot with one game. He was good but not fantastic and bugg was awesome today. The others I think are reasonable possibilities even if they werent bad against the pies.

Kent Hogan Garlett and Watts is a strong forward line. Pderson was good today but Id prefer someone more dynamic. A second ruck would be perfect. Great if Gawn could spend more time forward.

Always thought Howe was a one trick pony and as such a passenger. I laughed so hard when his manager last year said Howe was a 600, 000 dollar player. He sums up the difference btwn the two clubs. We got rid of him and they for some strange reason took him.

I didn't really pay much attention to Trengrove when he played. I recall him playing some really good games and he was good enough to be made captain although way too young. Was he really good? Is or can he still be? Many are anxious to see him return. I am because I feel sorry for any young footballer who as had a bad run of injuries. Yet quite a few are excited to have him back because they think he will have a big impact. The club clearly believes in him as well. So if he is still a real talent, in what way? Will he be better and more determined? Will he play many games? What position?

Perhaps they should count teeth before letting them in and stop the boguns getting into Bangers.

I miss the mcg. Stuck here in wollongong (not a bad spot) I miss catching the train to the g with my kids to the game. Gettiing on at Elsternwick station with a train always 15 mins late.
