Feel a little sorry for Grundy. I also think Max and Goody do as well. He was probably lured with the promise of playing equal time. I imagine though they were quite open about his role in playing forward. Just one of those things that sounded good but didn't pan out . I also thought all the talk of not being able to make him a fwd was negative but it seems to be true.

What are they saying at Moore Park

There are still a lot of Swans fans in Melbourne. My family has had a long relationship with the club. Maybe the Sydney supporters aren't that dedicated but the ones in Melbourne still going after their team was relocated are probably the most dedicated and passionate around . You are spot on about the media coverage. It's almost as of the Swans, who get larger crowds than most Nrl games, don't exist. -
Kinda of called....have you got your passport ready?

Don't hold back there. -
My bad Jaded. Do you think Tmac will get a run?
-
Afl forward skills.
-
I'd be surprised if he was but don't know why Turner was named.
-
Because it's important to have some cohesion before finals. Fritta is definitely going to play. He needs match fitness. And since Schache is omitted, it makes a lot of sense that another tall replace him.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if Tmac is sub. They may play Smith fwd again and give Tom a run in the last.

Some of these threads are so obscure. Keep em coming Do we need a Ginger appreciation round?

Traccas spending time up fwd is an interesting one for me. He's been playing midfield mostly which for me is where he belongs but with our struggles with injuries, I get him being moved. I've noticed but I'm not sure if it's a fact that he seems to start games slowly but roars home. He seems to not have many disposals in the first. Also Oliver seems a little underdone so can we afford to move Trac? Will there be room for him with Fritta back in? Not sure there would be. Also sadly, we are still in a state of flux with our fwd synergy. I'm also hoping Tmac maybe gets the sub role instead because he's stronger than JS.

Breaks ones heart. -
I take back any criticism I may have had towards Kozzie. He's still developing.
-
I don't think he's that bad. Would like some stats. Has gone off the boil recently but I don't think he's been bad in the past. I think the blokes really down in confidence.

That may leave us finishing third and traveling to Adelaide to play in our first final. I wonder if it happens we will rest players against the Swans.
-
Interesting insight to betting. Thanks for that analysis.

Thanks Jibroni. Totally forgot that. I guess it's a pretty big cat amongst the pigeons. Also both Lions and Port have big home success and as it sits Lions will probably get the home gig. I certainly don't want us to play either of them. I'm also thinking there's a strong chance gws and blues play each other in the last round and first week of finals.

Just checked the flag odds on Sportsnet. Interesting to note that Lions are at $4.00 and Port @ $ 6.00 Big difference between second and third considering we are at $4.50 in fourth. Is it because Port will have to travel to Qld ?

He's probably held one of them all year. He needs to stay down and do what he does best.

When will Melbourne break these embarrassing records?

It's very expensive. -
Will we play Fritta and Melksham together?

Week 1: Qualifying finals are played between 1st & 4th, whilst the other is between 2nd & 3rd. Elimination finals are played between 5th hosting 8th, whilst the other match features 6th & 7th. Week 2: There are two semi-finals, which are played between the loser of the qualifying final hosting the winner of the elimination final. Week 3: The winners of the semi-final, clash against the winners of the qualifying final for a spot in the AFL Grand Final. Week 4: The two most successful teams battle it out to be crowned the premiers of the AFL season.. Substitute Dees win flag week four. Im not sure if this answers your query now. Im sure the winners of the qualifying host the winners of the semi.
