  1. Well, that was bipolar. (Only just watched game not knowing score) Take the 4 points, have a breather, deal with the Pies. Some observations: - the inclusions impressed; I thought ANB was terrific after that howler early on and Harmes actually influenced the game. Leave em in. Milkshake ok. - Lewis' ball use and marking can be really poor, as displayed in the first half, but certainly makes up for it in leadership. So handy lurking around half back as the loose man and organising the kids. But geez he had a few Barry Crockers tonight. - Jones stepping up was a sight for sore eyes. Bless his shiny head. - Tyson has been building the last few weeks, looks to be getting a bit of dash back and tidied up his disposal somewhat. - Not Pedo's best day, but I like how he presents in the forward line and just works so bloody hard. 'Can we keep him, mum, can we keep him?!' - The bye has come at the right time for Watts. He looks a bit wonky. - Petracca had concrete hands tonight. Hope it's an anomaly, because if you squint, he looks a bit like Dawes. (?) - Jeffy on fire! Equal to Tex Walker on the goal kicking tally. - Hannan looks a beauty. Nice mark, can play tall whilst good on the deck. Noice. - A previous poster mention 'we don't give up'. Results prove we are playing with that mantra this year, been in every game and it's such a pleasure to know with relative confidence that we'll have a crack back; even when 5 goals down. - yes we sucked in the first half, but some of the bellyaching on here is OTT IMO (insert more modern acronyms here). We're at parity with a healthy % and a bee's ? from setting ourselves up to have a crack at playing finals. If you offered me that at the start of the season heading into the bye, I wouldn't despair. - The main negative about tonight's match is that this thread will have to linger like a bitter, stale fart for two weeks through the bye! Goodnight, peeps, I, for one, will sleep well. ✊???
  2. Hawthorn on equal points with us now . Ugh
  3. Yeah I told a guy a week or two earlier I wasn't interested. They seem to have dropped off now, though. Farkin irritating ?
  4. Ahhh THAT number that called me 7 times in the space of half a day... ??
  5. Is it a Perth number? If so I am too being harassed
  6. Although the Tumbleweed indeed resembles Brown's hair, it was more a representation on Chooks shocking gag.
  7. What a complete disgrace/joke
  8. KB and whatshisname discussing MRP / dodgy umpiring from yesterday on SEN. Cited the Watts shove out by Goldstein and Bernie doubled-over and dry retching on the bench after getting the knock. . neither paid. I hope a little more media scrutiny on some the decision making continues through the day.
  9. Haha. If it was at the expense of Richmond?!
  10. Just had a look at the ladder/upcoming games. Of the pack of 5 teams on 20 points above us, 4 play each other (rich v ess & dogs v st. k) and 1 (port) play a team above (geel). We are a game clear of remaining teams below. So IF (note, I F) we can win in the desert, we could go into the bye in 9th spot with % at 20 points / 5-5. Im clutching at straws, right?!
  11. Hmm. Big call. No doubt his form has been ordinary. Who is the best alternative, though?
  12. I'll say it again, I knew Watts and the MFC would have a shocker when we saw Jack awkwardly playing [censored] ping pong with Sam bloody Newman on the steaming turd known as the Footy Show on Thursday night! Out- Kent, Bugg In- ANB, Milkshake.
  13. bitterly disappointed yet again. 1-4 watching live this year. Draining stuff. a classic recipe for a MFC choke this week and you could tell we were off from the first bounce today. Too deflated and resigned to be angry. bleagh
  14. Assuming Freo beat Carlton, we'd end up 7th if we win. Is that right?
  15. Hahahaha! Gold! Tigers were up by 26 points when I put my kids to bed, by the time I came downstairs Giants win. ah Richmond xx
