  1. Pleased I couldn't follow this game at all. Was flat knacker feeding Bill Shorten and 850 of his mates. I decided to check the result in the afternoon so as not to have the anxiety of how we went distracting me during dinner service. My crew were looking at the scores too hoping for a Dees win to avoid getting a spray. I look after my team - I let loose on the wait staff - 850 meals delivered in 34 mins! So thanks for one thing, MFC, giving me a bit of rage to channel productively- perhaps you could try that sometime? And relieved I didn't have to blind-watch the recorded game until 2am for such a shitty result. So deflating. Out of interest, is Manuka Oval anything like Blundstone or whatever the [censored] it's called? Continuity with the conditions for next week? Or am I clutching at straws? We'll probably beat GW$ knowing us ?
  2. Bruce sounds like a tragic old drag queen when he makes his guttural sycophantic ramblings.
  3. I've tipped : Hawks over Sydney - Hawks the only team to beat Sydney during their streak (at SCG). Regardless of personnel, ladder pos, etc, will always be a fierce contest. Swans due for a loss (?) Suns over Tiggies - No Reiwoldt from friendly fire at training, therefore their forward line too small. Ablett back in. Just feel a choke coming on for the Tiggies brimming with confidence. Edit - Dogs over Bummers - Dogs on their very last chance, I think they'll lift ....here's hoping....
  4. The middle of the Filth cheer squad with a skin-full, post-game R2 2010 outside gate 5 after we lost by 1 point, trying to sing Grand Old Flag over Good Old Collingwood Forever.
  5. I'm going with this. I like your optimism PA. FFS just when things are coming together........
  6. Either way this game goes, low scoring is a good thing for us (%)
  7. Dylan Sheil off with an ankle now.... Haha....mwahaha....MWAHAHAHA.....heh
  8. Toby Greene 2 weeks?!?! note- closed fist Rance in the jaw
  9. Agree with all this. Just watching the game now (at half time) and agree Watts has had better days! He got in some good spots but appeared unsure of his body I reckon. He'll come good. I thought some of the earlier comments on this thread were a bit OTT, is all.
  10. Jeez, I came on here to read some positive comments about a great win setting us up for a good run at finals , not a Watts bash-fest circa 2012. Fair dinkum.
  11. So my plan to avoid the score was ruined by my father (who I haven't spoken to in months) texted me 'great win Dees'. Aarrrggghhh! But screw it- watching the game a bit later is gonna be awesome!!! Go Deeees!! Back in town!
  12. At work today, dammit. I've decided to avoid the interwebs / social media and watch the game as though live later tonight (thanks @binman for your decisive persuasion in the Match Preview thread). It's going to be a loooong day..... Good luck boys and girls
  13. Tomorrow's conundrum: Working till 4 or 5pm. To follow the scores at work/commute/feeding the kids then watch recording? Or, avoid Demonland, AFL app, radio and all social media and then not watch the game until 8pm when the kids are asleep?
  14. That passage of play down the wing just now was ferocious. Good stuff
  15. Thank you, I'll be here all week. Try the veal!
  16. Church is on Satdee this week. (See what I did there?!)
