Finals over. Not sure it's as apt against GWS.
-
The last time they met - they didn't. Hopefully by Sunday night they wish that was still the case.

Do we not get a live look-in HT? (or is that meant to be 11pm-2am?)

Voeckler? I bet my right one he leads at some stage this year...well - perhaps that's a bit extreme... I'd put the dough down though.

Sad news about Andy. Injured his pelvis in a crash and pulled out a few days ago - is still hoping to make the Olympics. Read he was quoted as saying he'd rather finish last at the Tour than not be able to ride in it.

We've just come off an 8 (?) game winning streak. Lost the last few though, need to get back to winning ways against the Dodgers.

27 up 27 down. Who was the bloke who threw the 28, 28 down game? Think he was a Detroit player? On the 27th batter, thrown out at first but called safe. I'll look up home runs, not sure if it's true bit will have a look. Global warming perhaps?

'09-'10 draft days feature high up Nash? (Perhaps Demonland is to blame for the MFC's output in these years?)

You must admit, many of your trade offers were pretty sub par
-
I must admit I didn't check the birthdays - nearly blew the top off my Pop Top when I saw he qualified by 2 days. Oh well - hopefully Shuey plays the way he has been, and hopefully Steele continues to play well for you HT. A good trade in the best interests of the game I think.
-
TBH I just did it to keep the game rolling and others happy. I don't really like trading, I like holding onto my players - but I figured that you guys put a lot of effort into offering trades, I may as well let a few roll out. Probably had more to do with my mood than anything - but it's done now.

It's strange. I'd have thought the injury would've meant that Brown was in trouble. This was highlighted when Buddy got off for his sling tackle. I nearly chocked on my Wizz Fizz when I saw the MRP come out and say that he was "lucky" to get off. What? Surely you're done or you're not. That he was saved by a lack of injury is odd - they went some way to clarify by saying that he didn't use full force and only grabbed one hand. One No. 9 for the Dees only grabbed one hand, and the force was added to by the Adelaide-playing-next-week-best-on-ground-despite-suffering-near-death-injury.

AFL grants immunity for indiscretions against Colin Sylvia
45HG replied to The Daily Magot's topic in Melbourne Demons
I believe it was assessed as high impact (3 points), intentional (3 points), high force (3 points), off the ball (1 bonus activation point) and against Colin Sylvia (-10 points). -
I'm 98% sure I'll live to rue these trades, and really should've checked players birthdays etc but oh well - I figured for the good of the game I'd get some players moving. I'd essentially drafted originally with keepers in mind - probably shot myself on the footy now but oh well.

Quick question comparing Melbourne to Collingwood help needed.

I don't count 2000 either. Never knew why they cancelled that game... -
Captaincy aside, he's not travelling too badly for a third year player, but I'm seeing less of the "spark" moments I saw last year - but there's no reason to think he won't improve and become the player I already thought he would. He works hard and can find a bit of the footy, he's definitly low on confidence or injured IMO - but as the team starts clicking I have no doubt he will too. To those saying he's not as good as Dustin Martin, I wonder how much of that bloke they've watched this season. Because it's almost impossible to play an injured player if he's not injured...

Surely the band was simply for Queen's Birthday. I don't like the trumpeter - I don't like it even more when the opposition come out and kick the first 8 goals (for the second time in 5 games against them).

Lynch lost his last game and I'm quite sure I've heard him quoted as saying he greatly regrets his actions that day. It left a blight on an otherwise fantastic career.

Had the tractor (or other such machine) driving round spreading soil (or other such small matter) on the square about 5 minutes after the game. (I'm not a farmer)

Tapscott's bump may have been crude - but did Fasolo deserve a 100 metre penalty for it? -
Germany get up over Portugal and Denmark produce the first upset of the tournament, downing a wasteful Dutch side. Spain-Italy tonight.
-
I'm tipping Germany also - but it's certainly a tough group and they haven't had fantastic form leading in.

Well done JA.

Not sure if it's supposed to be private or not, but personally my vote is for the original 4 Keepers to remain. It's how I've drafted - it's played a part in my trading/non-trading and it's how others have been playing the game too. I didn't feel there was an issue until the last couple of days. Otherwise, if it doesn't pan out I'll be happy to go along with whatever JA decides. You've done a wonderful job, keep it up.
