Those saying that he should debut against WC so we "don't write a cheque," i can't say I agree (though I'm not sure of the logistics). Surely 10,000 extra fans will bring 10,000 fans worth of dollars (meaning a big increase on QB), if those fans don't come aginst WC and we're 10k short we may have to write the cheque but surely we'd have the extra money from QB to play it with? My point - 10k extra in one match should cover 10k short in another

Believe me, they know he can play. He'll get a nomination, he's had 3 ripper games out of 4. The system is a little flawed in that there does appear to be a "queue" to get your nomination. Walker has been very consistent - 10 games kicking goals in all but one. He deserved it

Another reason to win this weekend is that we have the break after it. Nothing would be better than revelling in defeating the Magpies for two weeks - both wins last year (WC ignored) were had the week before the break.

TBH I don't know if there is a way around it without describing which areas you feel a player is lacking in every time you mention their ability - otherwise it becomes an oversimplified, derogatory comment. It's not something that phases me to be honest, people will always talk footy straight down the line - though I agree this isn't always a good thing (especially when you consider most people wouldn't dare say to a player what they write on here).
