  1. Biz has stood up & made a great comeback. Deserves one more year before retirement
  2. I am on the Todd Viney bandwagon now, he is assistant at Hawthorn & they are doing well. Shows he can rebuid and win plus he said he wouldnt mind having a crack
  3. -Is everybody over this season? I am not over it I am disappointed in it with everything that has happened -Does anybody care if we lose this Sunday? I dont like to lose but I will be a tad annoyed if they manage to win when they couldnt string a win together last week under the circumstances but I like to see them win & it would do the world of good for team morale to win -Do people actually want us to lose to get the best draft picks possible? No, we have enough young exciting players I dont think an extra couple would make us any better than we currently are. Plus I dont believe in playing for draft picks its so wrong -Will you be upset if we lose? Of course, I dont like the losing to Carlton trend they arent even a good team and if we cant beat them without Fev we wont win another game all year -Are you going? I want to but I am sick & sitting in the cold wont do me any good & I have a massive week at work this week -Crowd? Looking at the weather today I would say 27,000, will be a poor crowd
  4. Its tripe in ur opinion mate, who says ur opinion is above mine? Or anyone elses for that matter? Your arrogance says that
  5. Well considering hes played football and I havent I should bloody think so. No you should be embarassed, wopee I have an emotional attachment to players so f-ing shoot me! I dont care if what you think I write is crap, I am not going to pull you up every time I dont agree or we would be here all day. I am not sure who you think you are for you to decide that your opinion is far superior to mine but whatever it is lose it because it makes u arrogant and unpleasant and people do not like people with superiority complexes. And next time IM me and like I said DONT READ MY POSTS geez its not that hard
  6. LMAO. Ok first thing bite me. Second thing the Woey thing was said with a sense of humour I suggest you get one. Clearly our younger players arent that great or we would be winning more so I suggested we trade them for better yonger players how does that not make sense? If you dont like my posts dont read them no-one is forcing you to, I think you write a lot of crap I dont pull u up on it every time so give it a rest. And for the record younger brother
  7. No I think he has been good last couple of weeks
  8. As the cat is out of the bag - BrownlowBruce mentioned this to me: We dont blame players with 50 games or less we just make them captain eg Brock
  9. Ferguson is younger than say Bruce & Green and I stand by that Bruce is our best player. Older players tend to not do as well as they did at their first clubs which I think is being recognised now, love Byron but he hasnt really set the world on fire with us and Nick Davis has done f-all at Sydney. Obviously if we have to have this so called clean out then some young players will have to go for better young players and some older players might have to go to. I know that I will always be a typical female football supporter to you and thats fine I dont care talk down to me all you want
  10. YES I UNDERSTAND THATS WHY I SAID IT DER, god everyone craps on about premierships well the only way to get better players is to trade some youngsters with potential. How many clubs want older players and they dont want to pay much for them either so it makes no sense to me. Someone like ferguson or bartram would fetch something a lot higher than Bruce.
  11. Freo smashing Carlton - GO FREO GO Come on Pav you always kick 20 goals against us GOOOOOO
  12. No I dont like to blame anyone thats my point and I think its unfair to continuosly put the blame on one or two players who have played well for our club over the years eg White, Brown, Bruce etc And yes I actually love Brock and sometimes its too easy to wind certain people up about him as he does seem to be untouchable as opposed to everyone else in the team. With the last question I plead the fifth
  13. Trade the younger players not the older ones they have better trade value if this is the path we have to go down, I would say a lot will retire though to save us the business of delisting them. Oh and I will never prob get over the Woey thing, I try not to go on bout it but I do still admire him and I still have the newspapers from his Brownlow medal win (wonder if they are worth anything haha)
  14. Because he can always change his mind a la Paul Gardner :-P Plus I read this mornings paper that Danners reckons he would be good too and that he should put his hand up, and I would like Voss but in a couple of years. But as was just pointed out Voss might be our only reasonable choice
  15. It seems anyone over the age of 24 cops the blame for everything wrong with our team
  16. He hasnt even been out the game a year hes too young
  17. Then Gardner should have kept his fat mouth out of the press & not said the opposite
  18. "Neitz was critical of the way the club brought forward a review of the coaching position which ultimately prompted Daniher to quit as coach this week. He said Gardner should have stuck to the agreement he had publicly revealed earlier this year - that no decision on the coaching job would be made until the season was over" Neitz clearly gets it and what he says has absolute truth, I am glad Neitz has spoken out you cannot publicly say one thing and do another (unless you are a politician). If we are playing next week the season is NOT over. Good on you Neita standing up for what you believe in and for what many of us do. No Jaded Neitz isnt a business man but I trust his football opinion over Gardiners and this decision involves football not our finances
  19. No you are correct he is untouchable and if you say one word against him everyone thinks you hate him unfortunately you will have to get used to it. However it seems you can mention trading Bruce & Johnstone and receive a round of applause
  20. I am so sick of hearing that - people have players they lament losing and always will. Especially for when many of us had Woey as our favourite player, its something a lot of people will never get over. Not all of us view footy as a business transaction and I think better for us
  21. I meant to write end of the year my bad. Note to Paul Gardiner - I will have your job in 12 years and counting down
  22. If you read my post I said he should be careful, and now it appears all Collingwood players have been banned from strip clubs. And yes Judd should stay away from trouble makers like Kerr and Cousins to maintain his reputation as been a top athlete on and off the field. Todays Age Jaded: "Ealier, Didak along with fellow players Dale Thomas & Ryan Lonie had met Demon Colin Sylvia and a handful of other Melbourne players at King Streets Bar 20. Sylvia & Didak then went next door to Spearmint Rhino. Sylvia left soon after while Didak stayed for another drink - bough for him by Hudson." He needs to be careful - I dont want our club brought down to Collingwood or West Coast or St Kilda level
  23. It doesnt start Monday because our coach next week will not be our coach next year. I do not understand why he had to go however I cant see why it couldnt have waited to next year
  24. Did I actually say he did anything wrong? All I said was he needs to be careful, hanging around with Didak isnt obviously a great idea. And for the record no I was not there I do not frequent strip clubs. A football career is a very short one, I do not see why for a few years they cant behave. They can go out but I think there is a time and a place, strip joints do not attract the best people so maybe its best to steer clear of them?
