  1. No offense to the people who live there but it's a bit of a way down in the world from Toorak to McKinnon, isn't it?
  2. Would have sounded much better if it had a touch of reality about it. Problem is that Port Adelaide are after him, not Adelaide and the source is allegedly a Bigfooty post that's not even visible.
  3. Melbourne injury list: final round Angus Brayshaw (rested) – available Chris Dawes (ankle) – test Jack Fitzpatrick (concussion) – available James Harmes (rested) – available Jayden Hunt (back) – test Nathan Jones (ankle) – test Heritier Lumumba (ankle) – season Jordie McKenzie (concussion) – available Cameron Pedersen (knee) – season Christian Petracca (knee) – season Aidan Riley (knee) – test Jack Trengove (foot) – season Dom Tyson (hamstring) – season Aaron vandenBerg (ankle) – season
  4. Sam Frost not on the list again? Could somebody please call the club and ask if he's been lost at the snow?
  5. Melbourne injury list: round 22 Jack Fitzpatrick (concussion) – test Neville Jetta (neck) – test Max King (hamstring) – test Heritier Lumumba (ankle) – test Cameron Pedersen (wrist) – season Christian Petracca (knee) – season Jimmy Toumpas (concussion) – available Jack Trengove (foot) – season Dom Tyson (hamstring) – test Aaron vandenBerg (hamstring) – season
  6. The list lengthens as the end of the season nears. An all too familiar story, I'm afraid. Melbourne injury list: round 21 Jack Fitzpatrick (concussion) – test Neville Jetta (neck) – test Dean Kent (hamstring) – available Max King (hamstring) – 1 week Cameron Pedersen (wrist) – season Christian Petracca (knee) – season Christian Salem (illness) – available Jimmy Toumpas (concussion) – 1 week Jack Trengove (foot) – season Dom Tyson (hamstring) – test Aaron vandenBerg (ankle) – season
  7. Nathan Vardy.
  8. Can play, this kid.
  9. I believe he's decided to have one last crack at the red ball game over the next 12 months and if it doesn't work out will try his luck with the Crows in 2017.
  10. Melbourne injury list: round 20 Jack Fitzpatrick (ill) – available Sam Frost (toe) – 3 weeks Dean Kent (hamstring) – 1 week Max King (hamstring) – 2 weeks Oscar McDonald (groin) – available Cameron Pedersen (wrist) – 3 weeks Christian Petracca (knee) – season Jack Trengove (foot) – season Aaron vandenBerg (ankle) – 3 weeks
  11. Melbourne injury list: round 19 Sam Frost (toe) - 3 weeks Jayden Hunt (ill) - available Dean Kent (hamstring) - 2 weeks Oscar McDonald (groin) - test Cam Pedersen (wrist) - 4-5 weeks Christian Petracca (knee) - season Billy Stretch (rested) - available Jack Trengove (foot) - season
  12. Has anyone come off the season over list to play before? Cam Pedersen is now 4 - 6. Is that the club playing a joke on us? Melbourne injury list: round 18 Sam Frost (toe) 4 weeks Dean Kent (hamstring tightness) test Cam Pedersen (wrist) 4-6 weeks Christian Petracca (knee) season Jack Trengove (foot) season
  13. Slightly off topic but what's the prognosis on Nick Riewoldt - heard he was a bit proppy after the game on Sunday.
  14. Highlights: Sam Frost is now "5 weeks" instead of "4 to 6 weeks". Dean Kent's ailment is nothing more than hamstring "tightness" which will be monitored. Christian Salem is back - probably half a game at Casey this week. Jack Trengove has the all clear to start running on a special programme. Melbourne injury list: round 17 Sam Frost (toe) - 5 weeks Dean Kent (hamstring tightness) - test Cam Pedersen (wrist) - season Christian Petracca (knee) - season Christian Salem (hamstring) - available Jack Trengove (foot) - season
  15. Here we go again:- MELBOURNE Injury list as at 7 July, 2015 according to The AFL website * Angus Brayshaw Neck Test Sam Frost Toe 2-4 weeks Jack Grimes Thumb Test Dean Kent Hamstring 2 weeks Cameron Pedersen Wrist Season Christian Petracca* Knee Season Christian Salem Hamstring 3 weeks Jack Trengove Foot Season Aaron vandenBerg Hamstring Test * unlikely to look anything like the club's official injury list which sometimes comes out on Tuesdays or Wednesdays
  16. 17. We stretched Collingwood a few weeks ago so it looks like we're narrowing the gap. We also need to get a lot more consistency into our play but we're getting there.
  18. Much better than the one they had on the Age website a couple of days ago. On the basis of the latest list we should have a few putting their hands up for a place in the team with a couple more not too far away.
  19. The Melbourne injury list from the Age Jack Fitzpatrick (adductor) test Sam Frost (toe) 5 weeks Colin Garland (hand) test Jack Grimes (thumb) 6-8 weeks Jesse Hogan (hamstring soreness) - test Jayden Hunt (jaw) 3-4 weeks Dean Kent (hamstring) 5 weeks Ben Newton (concussion) test Cam Pedersen (wrist) season Christian Petracca (knee) season Christian Salem (hamstring) 3-4 weeks Jack Trengove (knee) season Aaron vandenBerg (hamstring) 3-4 weeks Snail's pace progress from players like Frost and Kent suggests that it won't be long before they have the word "season" posted after their names.
  20. Ok he also played for the Hawks but happy birthday to Ken Feltscheer anyway. What a champ!
  21. Last update: Chris Dawes (calf) - test Sam Frost (toe) - 5 weeks Jay Kennedy-Harris (groin) - 1 week Dean Kent (hamstring) - 5 weeks Christian Petracca (knee) - season Christian Salem (hamstring) - 1 week Jack Trengove (foot) - season Aaron vandenBerg (hamstring) - TBC By way of contrast, this is the St Kilda injury list:- Sam Fisher (hamstring) - 3 weeks
  22. Dom Tyson is a possible return from injury but Sam Frost who was 4 - 6 weeks last week is still at 6 and so is Dean Kent. These are two blokes with a bit of badly needed pace who seem to be treading water as far as their return from injury goes. Melbourne injury list: round 10 Chris Dawes (calf) – 1 week Sam Frost (toe) – 6 weeks Jay Kennedy-Harris (groin) – 2 weeks Dean Kent (hamstring) – 6 weeks Christian Salem (hamstring) – 2 weeks Christian Petracca (knee) – season Jack Trengove (foot) – season Dom Tyson (knee) – test
  23. And we've had a tougher draw so far than some of those around us.
  24. At last ... some signs of improvement? Melbourne injury list: round nine Chris Dawes (calf) test Sam Frost (toe) 4-6 weeks Neville Jetta (concussion) available Jay Kennedy-Harris (groin) 2 weeks Dean Kent (hamstring) 6 weeks Christian Petracca (knee) season Christian Salem (hamstring) 2 weeks Jack Trengove (foot) season Dom Tyson (knee) test Jack Viney (fibula) available
  25. Perhaps the samples were given to Dank and Alavi and they lost them?
