  1. I thought the 50m penalties for "delays" in getting the ball back to the player awarded the free kick made the game really hard to watch. It was interesting that Jordon and Langdon got 50's for "clarifying" who should get the ball before handing it over, and Oliver got a 50m penalty against him for giving the ball back to the wrong player because he didn't ask. So you're damned if you clarify, and damned if you don't, but inadvertently give the ball to the wrong player because you don't know who should have it.
  2. That last goal still brings a tear to the eye....
  3. They must be using an early version sat nav which is taking them the long way.
  4. I'm not sure she can pull off this look
  5. I still can't fathom why he thought half the Perth based crowd would leave before the end of the game because we were giving them a belting.

  7. Galactic superstar Christian Petracca...
  8. I don't know what Liverpool were thinking here, singing the Western Bulldogs song. Shows a complete and utter lack of respect
  9. Punt road end for home games.
  10. I belt out a good version of it’s a grand old flag at the end of the game. Hopefully that’s not letting the cat out of the bag.
  11. I wonder if the “never before seen experience” is watching the footy with the roof open
  12. Don’t mess with a winning formula I reckon
  13. Great win by the girls. Big test next week! But to the girls’ credit, they just keep getting the job done
  14. Fingers crossed Salem is OK. Crappy tackle when there's 4 mins to go and you're 90 points down.
  15. So based on this thread, somewhere between 25K - 90K
  16. And he looks like Gary Pert......
  17. I think you're around three blocks further down the road than the AFL on cross promotion BBP. Great idea though.
  18. Or, as Robbo put it in his top 50 players list, having Clarry and Trac is like having Batman and Batman. Only thing I ever agreed with him on.
  19. After a very long time, I'm getting over my deep seated animosity towards my father "guiding" me down the path of being a dees supporter. Hopefully my son doesn't feel the same way. Very much down to our star studded lineup. When Clarry did that one handed pickup under pressure against the Hawks (2016/7?), I knew we were onto a winner.
  20. That's doing it in style.
  21. Given this is a thread about numbers, I thought I’d throw in that todays date is a palindrome (22/02/2022). But I digress. I think the crowd size will be somewhat dependent on ticket prices. I thought last years Anzac Eve would be around 75K but it was only mid 50’s. I know people who didn’t go because it was just too expensive. That said, my guess is 70K, including three generations of dees tragics in my family (and a black sheep doggies supporter)
  22. Wow. What a win. Really gutted it out in the last quarter. Great result.
  23. Having watched the replay a couple of times, my view is that BBB used his forearms not hands in that marking contest, which as I understand it is OK. That said, I'm of the view that JJ's mark was a mark, so I think the two do negate each other as well.
