Being GC based and I have a recruited a small tribe of QLD lads to come down and support the boys this is really frustrating. I am not inclined to book flights & accom until I know I have these tickets... Absolute balls up by the AFL and Ticketec today.

It would also be a bit of sweet justice from last year. They knocked us off when we didn't come to the party. This year we will take their top 4 spot. I'd forgive them for 2017 if they gave us top 4 this year.

Its funny when a team has nothing to play for can really come out swinging especially against a team with it all to lose. Freo have some super players. Fyfe, neale, hill x 2, Walters, Cerra, Wilson, Mundy & Langdon off the top of my head. Sandilands also might come back into the frame. There is also the Perth factor. Ross the boss is a proud coach and will be demanding more from his group after last week and it really wouldn't surprise me if the result went either way this week. Having them play on saturday and if Collingwood lose it is absolutely on like donkey Kong at the g on Sunday would be epic!!

Jesse is a fantastic player. We will not trade him unless he requests a trade back to WA. If this does happen we would get 2 first rounders plus some I would imagine.

I doubt we would want Hanners, great player however doesnt have the speed out outside spread we lack. Gaff is the one we are after. St Kilda will probably offer Hanners anything he wants just so someone will go there as they seem to miss out every year.

I'm sure Port will be keen after all it appears Ken Hinkley is trying to rebuild the power house 2011 demons led by the great Mark Neeld. Bring in Kent, lure some gems like Jimmy Manger and Alex Georgio out of retirement and bring in Mark "twitch" Neeld as the head game plan coach. What could go wrong?

Would love this, Kelly AND Lever, and our list would be complete. However I can't see us having the currency & cap room for both.

I played a few games with Zak in the under 18s at Mount Eliza (I was a year older but he was playing up a grade or two) And his attack on the ball at that age was ferocious... to the point where me 6 foot 2 and 100 kgs didn't want to get in his path and I was on the same team! Made of the right stuff and would slot straight in. Would deffiantly be worth our first round this year... approx pick 10... which ironically is what Nathan was drafted at wasn't it?

I really hope we hold firm on this one... I really would hate to give in. Clearly we either have someone in mind in this years draft or another trade for this years pick lined up.

Lloyd just said in trade radio the deal will get done today for this years 2nd rd pick... Could just be Lloyd being an Essendon man saying what he wants to happen.
