Making the finals
I really think this year it's going to be 12 wins will get you into the finals. So I think we likely would have 3 loses up our sleeve post the bye.

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs Gold Coast
Generous... I'm sure he wouldn't score on at least 200...

Changes vs West Coast
It sucks but I really think we need Tmac to play back this week... Otherwise Omac will need to line up on Darling or Kennedy *Shudders* We will still need O-mac to stick around to "help out" with the resting ruckmen... In: Pruess, Smith, ANB Out: Hibberd, Lewis, Melksham Lets just hope someway some how our tall forwards can bring the ball to ground and, Garlett, Hunt & Tracc play the games of their lives.

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs Gold Coast
It definitely was not a normal QLD afternoon match. The conditions were absolutely perfect

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs Gold Coast
A wins a win... But Goody saying the conditions were slippery was just and out and out lie. My 4 year old was cleaner with her kicks, marks and handballs on the ground after the game than all of our team bar Salem. It was great to see ANB out and about with the people having a kick after the gane.

Making the finals
This... And we need to get our best players fit and firing, the only way to do that is to play 1s. ANB won't be playing when we get our players back from injury, it appears Lockhart, hunt and garlett are our chosen small forwards

Making the finals
You're kidding right? A win against GC and we are literally one win (and percentage) out of the top 8 with 14 games to play, in what will almost certainly be one of the most even season's we have had in a long long time. WCE will be gettable as they aren't playing great footy. GWS are in form however don't play the MCG often nor do they play it well... And Adelaide have started similar to us.... Wouldn't be surprised if we are firmly in the 8 come the bye... I also wouldn't be surprised if we lose 3 of the next 4 and officially end our season.

PREGAME: Rd 08 vs Gold Coast
Looking forward to this one, love going to Metricon its a neat little stadium. Going with a bunch of Gold Coast "supporters" which will give me so much [censored] if we lose...

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Just seen a post on a Facebook trading page that tom papley might seek to come back to Victoria at season's end. 23 years old in July and is a quality & speedy small forward. Us along with the blues, saints, doggies and norf are currently the teams to express interest

Making the finals
With may, lever, Viney and hannan in the team I am confident we can beat anyone at any ground. Assuming we havent lost any other players. Looks like we will have all of them back in 3-4 weeks. If we can go get a minimum 2 wins in the next 4 I think we could come home strong. Ideally we need to go 3-1 or 4-0 in the next 4

Changes v Gold Coast Suns
Unfortunately the GC train line only goes as far as varsity... So you will likely need to get a bus to varsity then a train to Nerang then a bus to metricon

Changes v Gold Coast Suns
Changes... Omac out Preuss in... keilty down back. And can rotate into the ruck if need be. It'll get pretty duey once the sun goes down probably around 3 QT so I wouldn't imagine that would play a massive factor

Changes v Gold Coast Suns
Pretty much.... The parking is horrible and the public transport to the ground is pretty bad. Either you park at a close school which usually has a shuttle bus service to the ground or you get the train and then a bus in. If you're staying close enough ie Broadbeach I recommend just getting a cab. The ticketing is pretty much behind the goals or level 2 general admission other seats are reserved seating you can pre purchase but level two is actually a very good viewing point at metricon. See you there

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
I honestly think it's a confidence thing.... When we clicked in the third we went from looking like a bottom 4 rabble to a premium team. Our hands in close where quick and effective our forwards were moving and clunking marks. We are not a precision team and dare I say it we wouldnt train like that. We rely on a sharp hand ball game in close to get our space and build numbers at the contest to create the next outlet. I am actually really happy the Hawks surged and we fought back and came from behind in the 4th after giving up a 3 goal lead. Shows a lot of character and I think we gain more from a tight 5 point win than running over them in the fourth to win by 5 goals. Hopefully the boys take something from the win and start building into the season.

Wow hopefully we can hold off the 21 hawk players on the ground in the 4th this umpiring is beyond diabolical

There are seriously two sets of rules being officiated out there today... Umpiring has been woeful
