Buddy?
This really depends on contract term, cost of trade (likely not much due to salary cap dump) and how much he takes in terms of salary cap & if this will effect retaining current players. I cannot see these all aligning so I doubt it will be worth it....

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
With 666 it is imperative to be able to compete in the air and in the clearance, both of which Pruess will help us out with. Playing two rucks (& having the best tap ruck men in the league) we will win 70-80% of the taps which goes a long way to getting more clearances than your opponent. If our resting big man, plus Weid plus Tmac compete in the air (not all at once for the love of god) we wont get rebounded as easily Ala the Geelong game. I actually think the inclusion of Pruess will help out Weid and Tmac and allow them to play their natural games. Hunt seems to be working as a forward thus far and I have really liked the intensity and goal sense of the new boys in Lockhart and C Wagner. I am quite excited to see how this set up will go for us tonight. & as I said in a previous post I think Weid will play a blinder tonight, he can focus on his forward craft, jump at the ball, crash packs and do other Weid (v Geelong elimination final) things. I am actually shocked we didn't run with this combo in round 1, dare I say this might have changed that result... Best of luck big fella! Play your role and it will go a huge way in getting us the points.

Jack Martin
Outside mid, good in the air and kicks goals. Would love him at the Dees. In terms of trade value GC would likely want 2 first rounders for him, I don't think many teams will be willing to part with that kind of currency...

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Wow.... In all honesty I feel sorry for the guy. I am the same age as him and cannot imagine going through what he has gone through in his short career. But no matter what you have gone through being in an AFL environment for as long as he has, should have taught him some professionalism. At some point getting on the sauce a week before round one he must have known this is not going to end well, and will make headlines and likely make his situation worse. Surely being back home around friends and family (which is why he left melbourne?) He has someone, anyone to turn to if he is struggling with his mental issues rather than getting on it? Not an attack on his character, but maybe goody and the decision makers at the dees new about these issues and this is the reason we happy to let him go for "unders"

Injury List - Season 2019
I wouldn't be too stressed from that list we have 5 available and 3 listed as "test" with May being back in RD 2. Baring any further suspensions or injury in RD 1 that list should go from 15 to 6 pretty quickly with really only Lever & Hannan missing from best 22. There shouldn't be any excuses to start the year, we do have a tough draw to start the year however I think 4-2 really should be a minimum result through the first 6 rounds.

What a thing to say about your new team... admitting they will be terrible before preseason has even started.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Yes Jesse can do some spectacular things on the footy field. But I really think he is an individual driven player, this might change with maturity but I doubt it... He lacks defensive pressure it never seemed to fully buy into our team & city. Its no coincidence that our BEST wins of the last 4 or 5 years have been with no Jesse. we have netted a pick 3 in return where we will get a full back for 4-5 years, a potential outside runner (former pick 5) & pick 23 to bring in a very decent role player. Sure pick 19 would have been better, perhaps we have something planed already for 23 in an on trade?
