Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
My thoughts exactly Saigy.

2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen
As mentioned a faster more direct game plan plus a Mihocek type up forward could really help Jacob van Rooyen have a break out year plus a Max Heath type playing 2nd ruck would also be a big bonus.

2025 Player Reviews: #31 Bayley Fritsch
Love Fritta, I will be very interested to see how King plays him next year, agree with previous posters he had a strong second half as he appeared to overcome his lingering foot injury. We need Bayley back to his absolute best in 2026.

Steven King interview SEN 2.10.2025
You would expect that his head would be still spinning slightly but he sounds pretty focused and self assured, obviously a clear thinker and smart enough to keep Gary and Tim on side. Although Gary wanted to hear how he approached Tracc and Judd to sell the club and his philosophy to them in an effort to win them over. Will be an interesting watch over the trade and draft period.

2025 Player Reviews: #5 Christian Petracca
Petracca is a legend of the MFC whether he stays or goes, prefer him with us but if he is against us we really need to ensure that we are adequately compensated. CP5’s don’t grow on tree’s.

2025 Player Reviews: #7 Jack Viney
Jack is a hard, tough tenacious player, a good coach will always have a role in mind for him. Looking forward to seeing JV having a big year in the new environment.

2025 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee
Disappointed in the Judd, hope he doesn’t end up regretting the move to Dockers, he had earnt a niche in our best 23 and sad to see him go.

2025 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem
Yes I love Salo as well and thought that he had recaptured his best form this year, will be interesting to see what role Steven King has in mind for him going forward. Let’s hope his body holds up for him, plays the big 200 in his next game

THANK YOU FROM DEMONLAND
Huge thanks to Andy and the Demonland Team, posters and visitors to the site, love this site, I would be lost without it. I glean so much information from everyone’s input particularly since I dropped out of most media sites over the past couple of years. I really hope that the changes that the club have made will make us a happier, stronger, successful and smoother running organisation in 2026. Cheers.👍😁

2025 Player Reviews: #11 Max Gawn
Max had a brilliant year which is reflected in his All Australian, Keith Bluey Truscott and 23 Brownlow votes. I think that he surprised us all.💕❤️💙
-
2025 Player Reviews: #33 Tom Fullarton
Good luck Tom would be good if he played for Casey, good size for a VFL chb, who knows.
-
2025 Player Reviews: #12 Koltyn Tholstrup
The Kolt showed a bit as Casey earnt a spot in the finals, a full preseason and perhaps the new coach playing him with a bit more freedom may help him find his niche in the side.

2025 Player Reviews: #18 Jake Melksham
I think that Jake Milkshake Melksham surprised us all on his return from serious injury, seems a good bloke a good team mate and mentor for our young fwd’s, great that he will make his 250th in ‘26 and kicking plenty of goals for us.

2025 Player Reviews: #19 Harvey Langford
Love Harvey Langford I was astounded that he got through to us at 6 bit of de javu like CP5 getting through to us at 2. This kid could end up being just as influential in our next tilt.
-
2025 Player Reviews: #22 Blake Howes
Blake has the height he’s a pretty good interceptor and a nice kick, can Kingy give him the self belief and confidence to cement his spot whether that be half back / wing / half forward, like his athleticism.

2025 Player Reviews: #20 Xavier Lindsay
XL certainly looks the goods, fast, skilled and tough just the right mix of player that we need going through the middle. Get super fit young man we have high hopes for you.
-
2025 Player Reviews: #21 Matthew Jefferson
Matty Jefferson with a bit of luck could be a very good fwd for us, really needs to step up his strength and conditioning this preseason, he has to make 2026 his year if he wants to be an AFL player.

Farewell Judd McVee
Very disappointed in young Judd, obviously trying to get the best deal out of the Dockers whilst telling fibs and playing us for fools. Not happy Judd.👎

2025 Grand Final
Thanks Beelzebub we had two bush turkey’s sitting in the tree behind us, our rental backs onto thick scrub land and the very large noisy bats, took off at dusk and returned home around sunrise. lol.

2025 Grand Final
We finally arrived at Noosa after 100km traffic jam and picking up two daughters and son in law at Sunshine Coast airport, we got there in time to see 1/2 the third and the last quarter. Brilliant footy from the Lions, let the Cats kick a few in Red time but a great win. We all had showers (9 of us) and headed of to Zibros restaurant to celebrate my birthday sitting outside on a lovely warm spring night. It’s a tough life but someone has to do it.😁👍

2025 Player Reviews: #29 Tom Campbell
Fortunately not needed in ‘25 but he played some dominant games for Casey and after all he is our Max Gawn insurance.

2025 Grand Final
Thanks LFS we will certainly give Roccoco’s a go.👍

2025 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett
No GOTD but we planned our trip north to Uluṟu and Alice to coincide with our Home game up there and we were fortunate enough to stay in the same resort as the MFC boys and coaches ( pure fluke). We were in the Restaurant when Tracc and Clayton came in to see Tracc’s family and Clarry was very upset that he wasn’t playing because of his broken hand and he had played 139 consecutive games. It turned out to be a trip of a lifetime.👍😁

2025 Player Reviews: #30 Harry Sharp
Need a lot more out of Harry Sharp, has pace and not a bad kick, needs to get involved and start to impose himself on the game.
-
2025 Player Reviews: #32 Tom Sparrow
Tommy Sparrow kicked one beauty and set up three others in the Granny. I’m hoping that Steven King can reinvigorate him back to that type of role, not enough impact as a high pressure forward / tagger. He’s got a good leg we need to utilise it.
