The absolute best. Called a spade a spade and was willing to make the hard decisions when needed. I remember watching his first interview as an acting CEO on On The Couch back in 2013 and I walked away comfortable knowing that the club had taken huge steps forward in getting our [censored] back together again. The legacy he's left at the club limitless. The unfortunate thing is that we simply did not have him long enough in my opinion.

I've never in my time seen two individuals such as yourself and @Demonsterative follow/stalk someone around on a thread and get so triggered by every word that is written on ever page. I know you guys are incredibly sensitive, but maybe for both your sake you just hit the ignore button. He's living rent free inside your heads.

Which no one is denying. You think after the way they refused to let Petty go when he literally got on national TV whilst playing golf with a few Crows player stating that eventually he does want to come home, to then trade Trac? Even if trac came out and said he wants to be traded the club would refuse to do so. That doesn't stop the fact that the issues that is still lingering between club and Petracca which will need to be smoothed over.

In fairness to the the 2015-2017 period at least we had a vision and a game style that Roos implemented that could stack up long term. That win against Hawthorn in 2016 is one of my more favourite wins other then the 2018 finals and Grand final. Not only that we had one of the best operators I've ever seen in my time in supporting the club in Peter Jackson who ran a tight and disciplined ship. He's light years ahead of Roffey and Pert. I do understand what you mean though. News of late has sucked the absolute life out of me.

Absolutely. There's been smoke there for a while but delusional supporters still don't want to believe that there is nothing wrong with the club. The footy department have the biggest 3 months ahead since the pre Paul Roos appointment in getting the right people in the door through the door whether thats coaching or recruitment. There are a number of factors why there are players that are currently unhappy, but when it's your star player, you take on his feedback and do whatever it takes. Gut the place, and put some fresh voices around our team and give them a game plan that is going to play to their strengths that will stand up in finals and win.- Christian Petracca
Agree. Always has been.- Christian Petracca
Said in another thread that there were some unhappy players at the club. Trac was one of them. Regardless of what some people on hete think that every single player is happy at our club and for the coach, well they arent, that's the reality. Some are happy, some aren't. That's footy clubs for you. The club handled the Trac situation poorly and the family are still not on great terms with the club. From a players parent I bumped into a few weeks back.- Goodwin is the MAN!
@middleagedemon post of the year right there.- POSTGAME: Rd 22 vs Port Adelaide
The carry on from some on here regarding this is ridiculous. Then there's the May could have stopped a goal or two commentary. How'd he go stopping goals against Fremantle, West Coast when they smashed us and then close games like GWS where he could have stopped a goal or two when he played. Remarkable the excuses some go to in lengths.- NON-MFC: Round 22
Brisbane planned around Gardiner, Coleman and McCarthy for the year also, yet they've covered them off just fine. Turner is literally doing what we've gotten with Smith. That or he'd be playing at Casey. Barely a loss. We had opportunities to fill either more midfield depth or ruck support for Max via the mid season draft but instead we decided to bypass that and look how's that's come about. We're relying on our current best player who's had to play on one leg with zero ruck support because we're asking one of our brightest key forward to help out and now he looks physically spent instead of just focusing on his forward craft full time. Not sure why you've randomly brought up Curnow, they've been pathetic the past few weeks even with him playing and contributing.- POSTGAME: Rd 22 vs Port Adelaide

Every teams has an injury list.. we've actually had one of the betters injury list then majority of clubs this year. Look at Brisbane's with their ACL's to both the key players in Kiddy Coleman (close to winning a Norm smith) and Linc McCarthy who's pretty much their ANB clone in terms of forward half pressure and importance structure wise. They've also lost Darcy Gardiner who played in their grand final last year and would have been a solid depth defender for them. They've had their 2nd best key defender in Jack Payne who's missed 8 games this season and have had to move Hipwood down to defence. They've had Will Ashcroft who's one of their gun midfield talent missed half a year with an ACL injury. They too have played young kids and also brought in soldiers when needed. What's their excuse?- PREGAME: Rd 23 vs Gold Coast

Good grief this is an awful take. Let's take a look at players who have kicked more then Harrison Petty this year. Ben Brown - 7 goals Max Gawn - 11 goals Jack Viney - 8 goals Christian Petracca - 14 goals Alex Neale Bullen - 8 goals Ed Langdon - 7 goals Kade Chandler - 17 goals Caleb Windsor - 8 goals. Daniel Turner - 12 goals He's played 18 games pretty much as a full time forward for a total return of 6 goals. Poor Benny Brown has only played the 6 games and he's still kicked more then Petty. I didn't add Pickett, Fritta and JVR because they've done what they're main objective is as a forward and that's to kick goals amongst other things. Then you have both our wingman and a back man who came to the year only having played 3 games that have already surpassed him this year with their goals tally. I understand that he contests well and will take the odd good strong mark, but your main role in all that is to kick goals and he simple doesn't do it. He's a defender first and foremost and a good one too. He's simply not a forward and it's been a waste of an opportunity with him down there. We have nothing for life after May unless Goody pulls the pin on this whole forward experiment thing which has been nothing short of a failure.- Christian Petracca’s 2024 Season Ending Injuries
Hahahah.. I'm not sure if anyone will pick up on this.- NON-MFC: Round 22
