  1. Should we add Melksham and Petty to the whiteboard while we're at it?
  2. Apparently Harmes has interest from Richmond, Carlton, Sydney and Essendon.
  3. I agree, certainly lot of emotions. And trust me, I'm no saint either which I'm working hard on but last night was almost next level. Let's not stoop to the level of Collingwood supporters and being absolutely vicious to one another.
  4. Really disappointing to read some of the responses to @AzzKikA take. Just because he has a different view on the situation doesn't mean he has to be blasted or put down for having his own opinion, purely because he doesn't have his rosy red and blue glasses on. He's just looking at it from a broader sense. You dont have to agree with his take or any other, but then when you're reading some of the personal insults last night directed even at @BoBo in my head we're no different to Carlton and Collingwood supporters. I'd rather talk about how we beat Carlton on Friday night..
  5. What rumour? Got his opportunity in a big final. I'd be very surprised if he leaves.
  6. I'm guessing for Laurie.
  7. The bigger crowds act as a 23rd man. The Collingwood noise in that first quarter was absolutely nuts just from watching it on TV. I then tune in to Carlton v Sydney and the roar when Cripps kicked that goal was like no other. Can't imagine what it's like attending. But I do think you're right, it seems that we are really jittery when we come up against big hostile crowds. This is why getting off to a good start is critical. Drown the early noise put immediately.
  8. Really do hope he gets the Richmond coaching gig.
  9. Clearly I'm making a point of saying no? There's significant ramifications that's going to come out of this. The growing list of ex players filing a lawsuit against the AFL will only increase. The bigger picture out of all this is emotional and mental toll this is having on Angus and his family right at this minute.
  10. That's exactly where my mind is at. I know there's a lot of emotions right now but it's going to get a whole lot worse when there's a camera at Brayden Maynard potentially holding up a premiership medal by the way things are falling into place for the pies. I can't think of a game where losing last week to the pies will be our 'what if' moment. A missed opportunity just gone begging and now it's the hard road to the top. Meanwhile pies get an easy run straight to the granny.
  11. I would if he wasnt turning 36 next year. But he's genuinely cooked mate. Not that he was overly quick but his awareness and sharpness around stoppages have declined significantly. Champion player, but he needs to.retire gracefully.
  12. Nope, had him gone for 4 weeks. But I'm not one bit surprised he got off.
  13. Genuine over the top comment by old mate there..
  14. Let's talk proper footy now. What's done is done and all supporters can do now is move on and cheer the lads on Friday night. Still not confident at all we win and don't know how we kick a winning score but hopefully the guys have a read hot crack.
  15. Glad that [censored] show is over. Can now totally focus on Friday night and hope like hell we win!
  16. Rollo was right all along.. 🤣
  17. Agree, i've really enjoyed watching the Giants play this year. They play such a fast attacking brand of footy that suits their playing list. If we get knocked out on Friday night I'm 100% on the giants train for this finals series.
  18. I disagree. Let's just leave it at that.
  19. Christian Petracca had his knee strapped at training today.
