2024 Game Style
You are certainly on to something. Tim Lambs record of late has been incredibly poor and the guy gets far too much love on here for yet bringing in so many NQR that has continue to clog our list since 2021. We haven't improved our list at all on the run, we've just stayed competitive but that wears thing mentally when you're grinding each year only to go out in straight sets come finals.

Deep Midfield Issues
Let's unpack it. Well all know it's been an issue all year, well everyone one except particular person on here who thinks it's a non issue. Currently watching Freo completely smash us around the ground and open us up on the inside. It's like watching the WC game again. We've literally had the same consistent midfield line up since 2021 and have had zero injection of talent rolling through there. We've lost James Jordon, James Harmes, Angus Brayshae and Luke Dunstan even as depth and have replaced them with no one except ANB and Pickett who have been rolling through there of recent and yet they're not even midfield first players. There is little to no depth in thr cupboard now. It's bland, boring and there's been little innovation in there other then the same suspects such as Viney who's been poor this year and will be 31 next year, Oliver is certainly not himself but he's also a turnover merchant and Petracca who's probably been the only one who's had least been consistent this year. The current set up certainly isn't premiership or even finals material the way it's going. Watching Freo spread with such speed on the outside by smashing us on the inside has been the story of our year. This needs to be addressed big time over the off season.

Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson
As a tall key forward, physical development is absolutely necessary in today's game. Imagine when Jefferson comes up against Sam Taylor, Harris Andrews and Jacob Weitering, he'd get physical monstered. A winger or outside player in Windsor case can get away with a smaller frame because they're not smack bang right in the middle of the contested work so obviously they're not copping the big hits and one on one duels like key forward/defenders do. Jefferson is still a long way off it from a physical sense. Talent us there but.

CASEY: Rd 10 vs Coburg
Yeah he's surprised me how good he's been. Ideally I'd rather JVR fully focus on being a forward but he's a competitive kid who's really competing well as an undersized 2nd ruckman. Cam Pederson like.

Not sure entirely it was desperate times. You're never going to get a like for like for Jackson. Literally just needed a back up ruck that can be physically competitive when needed. Fullarton is more a 200cm forward flanker.

Said it a while back, Fullarton is pretty much another Schache clone but probably hates physical contact even more. The recruitment never made sense from the very start. Go read all the Brisbane fans comments on bigfooty when he left and they were celebrating his departure. Can't believe we signed him to a 2 year deal.

Get Sam Darcy …
Kid is going to be a superstar...

Key Forward Wanted.
He's much better depth thrn Schache. Even when he's played at AFL level this year he's hit the scoreboard still atleast.
