I know this might mean nothing to anyone but it good to see Maiaa Westrupp first day of Pre Season. Shows the kid is very keen. Very quick and has a deadly leap. Evans has bulked up and I reckon pedo has trimmed down a little bit.

Against a 3rd division EDFL side. besides just because he got 50 disposals doesn't automatically mean he is a better player then Cain. Cain has speed, good kicking skills and overhead mark while Magner is the complete opposite...

Well just because he is best mates with Hogan doesn't mean he will have a long term future ahead of us. Heck id be more worried about Hogan leaving then this bloke. Friends come and go when your a professional AFL player. Yes him and Hogan might be good mates but he also has 100 other mates back in Western Australia that would be egging him on to come back and play for one of the WA sides. Money also talks. If he gets offered a fat mega contract by West Coast or Freo it would be a massive temptation for him especially if we don't improve on field. Freo and West Coast are still very good teams who have big supporter base and good lifestyle. Just ask Hogan..

Time to bring this up. Was talking to a mate who went to Assumption with Prestia and keeps in contact with him fairly often. He told me he was very tempted to come back to Melbourne and was seriously considering the Dees offer. Is still a massive Melbourne fan and so are his family. His family really did push hard for him to come home but he wanted to repay the faith in the Suns. The only reason why he didn't wannna come back to the Dees was our diabolical state at the time with Neeldy close to getting the sack and getting pumped 100 points every game and he was defiantly worried about the future of the club like any other Melbourne supporter which is fair enough. With Paul Roos in charge and a big improvement next year that could all change. Don't be surprise if we offer him a big fat contract within the next 2 years. Prestia will defiantly return to Victoria its just a matter of when. Melbourne have told him they will keep close tabs on him still which he has no issue at all.

Beat me to it. To me he understood Sylvia's decision and was fully supportive of him even though he was a required player. Players will respect Roos, Roos will respect the players. Some key things I thought was interesting: Crows went about this poorly Paul Roos rang Bernie's parents to make them feel welcome. Something Sando never did. Mum was star struck and dad was on the tractor. Is a massive fan of Roos and Viney. Loves watching on the couch and thinks he is a Australian icon in football. Trained at the Swans prior to getting drafted and was a big fan then. Viney was midfield coach the year he won the BnF. When talking about the leadership role at the dees, he said at the meeting with us he mentioned that our lack of drive for leaders here, Said a lot of our leaders take a lot of things to heart which I found very interesting. Also mentioned that the Dees said Jones is almost like a boy skipper, where the players get around him and look up to him.. Not surprised! Lol I love Taylor Walker! rang Bernie to give him a bit of flack which is great to see. Bit of ''true mates' banter. absolute classic this bloke!
