Or he just might want to concentrate on his own game just like Roos mentioned...
-
Yeah lets halter his development just like Trengove and Grimes Tyson still has a lot to learn and development. That's how good his upside is from what he showed last year. He is still a 21 year old with only 35 games experience. No need to burden the kid with any leadership titles. Cross is in there because he sets the example on and off field. Just because he isn't the future like Tyson doesn't mean he shouldn't be in there. His knowledge and experience is very vital for our development and that's why he is in there. He is the type of bloke like James McDonald that when he talks you can hear a pin drop in the room. Very respected amongst the group
-
Why are you surprised? Good gosh what a silly statement. No matter what leadership they show you don't just chuck in a first year player straight into your leadership group when he has matured or played a single game. Obviously didn't learn from the Trengove/Grimes debacle...??

This is by far the best leadership group I have seen for a long time. Guys with lots of experience and no kids coming in whatsoever with big burdans. Thumbs up

Salem and Toumpas off a half back really has me salivating. First time in so many years I will get such enjoyment from watching our half backs nailing our targets and hitting up the half forward with their kicking skills. Travis Johnstone and Aaron Davey were just simply sublime drilling a low hard 40m kick off a half back, and both Toump and Salem have these traits. -
Uber Alex Georgiou @UberAGeorgiou Oct 15 I wish Mitch Clark good health. That way, I can play on him, massacre his soul & take artful photos of his shredded skeleton #NABTradeRadio View details · Uber Alex Georgiou @UberAGeorgiou Jimmy Bartel says claims he dived are "a load of rubbish." Yes that's exactly what I meant. Same problem we have been battling the last 8 years. Looking fantastic on the training track every summer like you love to spruik on about then come game day we are a flop. This year I hope is a lot different with the quality of players we have brought in. The likes of Newton, HL, Garlett, Brayshaw, Stretch are well known for their kicking skills and good decision making. Yes because the last 8 years has prove that hasn't it.. Like wormburner I am still confused what those terms mean.. anyway each to their own. -

And im still waiting for you to get me that disposal efficiency to prove that. Until that, he is a horrible kick... Sorry to say.. Im sure he is a great bloke to you and you love him to bits but when a senior player misses goals from 20m out against port Adelaide dead in front then back it up the week after with a miss from 15m out directly in front he has some serious issues with his kicking. And even if his disposal efficiency is up. He will always handball a lot during the games because you can tell from his body language he doesn't even trust his own kicking skills. Anyone can hit a target at training. Its the actual game day that's the big problem for us when the pressure and intensity goes up by 80% Come watch one of the Ovens and Murray clubs I play at and you will see we are also rarely miss targets too. -

Wrong Daniel Nicholson, Simon Godfrey, Clint Bartram, Jack Grimes, Jordie Mckenzie come to my mind as very ordinary kicks in general. These guys would struggle to hit a target literally 20m away. Their determination and grit is what got them games. Decision making contributes to that aswell as you said but these guys are drafted purely that they are hard workers and will put in the time and effort in working on their kicking along the way. -

Looks horrendous doesn't it.. Sad to say Jack will never be that big hulking forward we all expected him to be as a number 1 draft pick. Best option is to settle for a Jack Gunston type floating across half forward.. Hopefully he grows a set this year aswell. -

Btw the players must have had their photos done yesterday. www.aflphotos.com.au Jack Watts still looks like that 17 year old kid. Bernie Vince has a rude head.. -

I think your overeacting a bit.. His profile pic is him and Nathan Jones having a wrestle and a laugh while his background pic is him, Crossy, Dawesy, NJones all smiles after the Adelaide win. Whats the issue? And this was a tweet last December Bernie Vince @bvince23 · Dec 23 Nearly 25000 members for @melbournefc already. A pre Christmas record! Good to see everyone is as excited as I am about 2015!! That to me looks like he has moved on from the crows and is very much excited about our future prospects. -

How is Salem looking so far? Would love to see him spend greater time in the midfield. Brayshaw and Petracca? how did they look in the match sims. -

That pic of Pedo does look a bit unflattering... lol Hopefully it doesn't hinder him. Amazing pics by the way! -
How can you base that judgement based on the fact he has signed to a lower level. Unless he told you first up he never had the mindset right from the very start then I think its an unfair pot shot at tappy. Before a kid is drafted they have completely no idea what the real rigors and pressure of the AFL system. Its such a huge adrenaline and excitement when you get drafted its pretty much full steam ahead. But sometimes it really sucks the excitement out of you. It is not what they expect, fame and the public eye most times plays a huge role in this plus the every day mentality strength. Maybe Tappy is happy with his new lease of life? Maybe he just didn't want to deal with all the pressure and scrutiny that went with it. All I know is when Tappy pulled on the jumper he gave it a red hot go. Injuries really played a big part in his career. But im sure he tried his guts out to make a career out of it. Good luck tappy.

Watched Aussie Wonamirri the other day.. Unfortunately a shadow of his former self. Just struggled to get in the game and was barely sighted.

Great reports guys. Just a quick question in regards to Saty who I love the training reports and photos. And this isn't a Saty bashing post but how does Salem feel when post like these from you are put up on twitter?? Peter K@Demonpk @melbournefc @billyjstretch taking on @salem1507 ,glad to say @Arsenal supporter got pantsed .and complained to ref. Peter K@Demonpk @melbournefc ..the @Arsenal supporter @salem1507 ...and @jackviney7 one on one, Jack won I am glad to say haha Personally I would feel a little disappointed if that was me being put down like that. Im sure other might feel different but just thought on social media out on the public its bit unfair on the young kid. This is not a bashing or put down just want to get your thoughts on it Saty. -
This ^^I trust the MFC drafted ANB based on the potential of being a 200 game player for us and not to satisfy Stretch.
-
I would be looking at Zac Clark and Daniek Gorringe at the end of the year. Both to me I see alot of potential if given the number 1 ruck role. While I think Gawn has alot of talent his knees are a bit of an issue. Spencer really needs to show ALOT in the next two years. Love his aggression but he is useless around ground. I would love for us to Rookie list Jamar if he has a good like the pies did with Hudson and give him an extra development role for our talls. His experience is still very important IMO for the likes of King and Gawn.

Its the same hero that goes on facebook and boast proudly about it too.Its ugly and actually quite sad that if you take the emotion out of it that a mate cant go on another mates instagram and have a joke around without idiots writing disgusting comments on there. Like I have said what Clark did was wrong and im bit disappointed still. But at the end of the day he is still human. -

Reading the comments it was quite obvious mitch was just having a joke around with his mates only for some [censored] to hijack poor Hogans instagram.. And it seems Mitch is still close to alot of the boys which is no problem at all. Im still pretty disappointed he left but going on social media and being a complete hero is something I am not interested in.
