  1. Love this place when people come in to offer some insight whether that's through their sources or whatever and get absolutely smashed for passing on information. Classic Demonland.
  2. Win and we go back into finals contention and top 8. Lose against a depleted Collingwood and we make the journey towards September even harder. Up to the players now.
  3. Kolt very Impressive, if you wanted a glimpse of why we took him at pick 14 then today he showcased exactly that.
  4. Kynan Brown to debut??
  5. 'Red' at some stage throughout the game, he will have to stand alongside those big key defenders. This isn't the 90's where we've got Carey vs Jakovich for 120 minutes of the game. With how the zone defence is played in today's game and Jefferson being a key tall there will be certainly in stages of game where guys like Taylor, Weitering and even a Sam Collins will have to man Jefferson. On size and strength along Jefferson would be monsterd. If he is able to keep up his good form in thr VFL then I think we'd be silly not to at least consider later on the year. He's got natural forward craft where as Turner and Petty don't.
  6. We have showed strong interest in GC ruckman Ned Moyle according to Jon Ralph. Adelaide and Collingwood are also other clubs showing interest.
  7. Well said. I'm now in the boat that there's a huge chance we could miss finals based on this overview. You can't overhaul the game plan completely but even with a few tinkering you're still not guaranteed to win games. This has been brewing for a number of weeks now.
  8. I'd be incredibly surprised it that was the case and it would be plain stupid by the club. Anyone that has missed a year with a knee injury would know you need definitely full match practice under your belt before you're at maximum level. Melksham will need a number of weeks at Casey for not only match conditioning but also to get form. Some are forgetting that he's nearly 33 and at the wrong end of his career coming of a 12 month injury. Highly unlikely we'll see his best again especially with the way our forward line is functioning which has been sub par.
  9. The fact Woewodin had more then all of them is damning in itself.
  10. Fluke the flag?? Nah.. people are simply trolling now. We absolutely deserve, and earned that flag. We timed our run at the most perfect time and the reason we smashed those teams in the finals was because we had a system and game plan that stood up in finals. We got challenged in the grand final and could have just crumbled under the pressure but we didn't, we rose to the occasion and did the job. Flags are incredibly hard to win and anything thinking we fluked it can get in bin.
  11. A young hulking young key forward who likes the physicality side and his nickname is 'The Duck' I think I'm going to love this kid even more..
  12. If the board members can win us a bloody clearence then yes, where the hell are they!??
  13. Cornesy is spot on with this one.
  14. Wouldn't be surprised if it's Kozzy Pickett.
  15. I'm afraid that will be the case on here. Well probably win and the usuals well say we're a top 4 side again and premiership contention and then waffle off some meaningless stats. As Goodwin states, this issue has been ongoing for majority of thr year and still continues to do so.
  16. No he didn't. Think back to the Richmond VFL game where Fullarton took about 6 strong contested marks and looked threatening up forward. Other then a few lucky balls that bounced his way against the anzac eve game Turner has shown absolutely nothing as a forward at AFL level or VFL level to suggest that he deserved to be an automatic selection against Freo. Had Hunter not been subbed then Turner was first to go because he was horrible and got his pansted pulled down by Draper.
  17. In fairness to Tom Fullarton, as much as I have been against this recruiting from day 1, why on earth did we select Daniel Turner who had missed nearly 3 weeks with a calf injury over Fullarton who would have been able to give Gawn a chop out against Darcy and Jackson? This selection would have made perfect sense. You'd think this would have been the perfect opportunity. Turner was completely non existent and Gawn was worked over by Darcy and Jackson. This why Goodwin and Tim Lamb confuse me at times. Bring in guys like Fullarton, Dunstan and Schache and yet they barely play them when opportunity presents themselves after good form in the VFL.
  18. I think you can answer that one for yourself now. Yes, I absolutely have egg on my face.. 😅
  19. He's bang on, look at Oliver, looks completely out of shape and one stage I saw him hunched down trying to catch his breath and he looked in terrible shape. Selwyn and Goody need to come under close scrutiny. Bringing back underdone players has finally caught up to use. We simply could not keep up with Fremantles outside spread and work rate. Lol you won't hear a word from Roffey.. she's gone MIA. You'll only hear from her when we've won a final and she's taking all the credit for the glory. Even after having thr off season from hell we heard nothing from her except her telling us we need to cheer louder 🤦‍♂️ Poor Gawny had to face the music all pre season. Coaching department needs a complete overhaul at the end of the season.
  20. Plus the mis management of Oliver's hamstring injury last year when he was up and running on on the Monday morning after coming after the game against Port doing his hammy. The funniest one is when we randomly rushed in Charlie Spargo for round 9 against Sydney and he put in one of the all time stinkers you'll see.. Daniel Turner selection was even more mind boggling off the back of a 3 week calf injury.
  21. As a midfielder today let's check one of the basic fundamentals of what a midfielder should be doing amongst many other in the coalface and that's tackling.
