  1. Mitch Cleary reporting that the Harry Sharp deal will happen soon.
  2. You're not on the club payroll. Therefore you’re equal to any Joe Blow that supports this footy club. Expecting senior management officials to treat you any different is just an imagination in your mind.
  3. Honestly, just be done with it and trade him. Grab a future first rounder and a 2nd round draft pick and move on. Cannot put up another 12 months of Oliver distraction and noise on top of his ongoing behaviour that we still have to manage.
  4. Pert will tell you what you want to believe and you'll take the bait like any other gullible fan does. He's not going to tell cheer squad member the true depths of what's happening behind the scenes.
  5. Take note GWS ya [censored]
  6. Yes I do. He's a genuine gut runner.
  7. Don't mind this. One of the fittest players going around in the competition and one thing he does bring is quick ball movement and speed. He's actually a bit like Ed Langdon in that he'll hit a target 30m up the field and then follow up again with a hand pass and reset again. He's contracted though, I hope Brisbane aren't similar to Dersken. I also like this because he's still only 21 so there's lot of growth and improvement left unlike the past recruits who've had of recent. Still plenty and growth and development left, and knows, could have a Toby Bedford breakout season hopefully.
  8. He should be watching plenty of tapes of Calsher Dear and Logan Morris over the off season.
  9. No serious, why would we sue then?
  10. Sorry, what grounds would they be sued under..?
  11. Welcome @RickyD and good on you for your letter. You have myself and a legions of supporters who fully support what you're trying to push. i also like you because you trigger the happy clappers who are delusional in thinking there is nothing wrong with the club. keep it up.
  12. The huge upside with him is that he's never really completed a pre season which why clubs have him really high up in the draft. The scope around his potential is incredibly high. There's a bit of Clayton Oliver 2017 element in terms of the upside with his conditioning and stripping down weight to an elite athlete type body to play more midfield minutes. I would be stoked if he fell through to our pick.
  13. Nothing wrong with it. He's obviously worried like every other parent that have kids playing for the Dees with all the noise and leaks coming out of the club. Spoke to a parent of a current player few weeks back now and they too shared their concerns around some of the player behaviour and culture issues inside the club. Same parent that told me the Petracca camp had some serious issues against the Melbourne Football Club. Tom Morris then broke the story two weeks after that.
  14. Keep an eye out for the name Tye Hourigan from Traralgon Football Club 23 year old smokey defender in the same mould as Tom Stewart and we have strong interest in him. One to watch.
  15. Players not fussed if Oliver's traded.. speaks volume in itself.
  16. He's staying at GWS. They're pretty adamant after talks this weeks and a few proposals put forward to them that he's staying. Just remember GWS have a history of this with Cam McCarthy.
  17. Nothing more cringe then a drunk fan annoying an AFL player..
  18. Few of the young boys are over in America doing their training as well.
  19. With the potential bid of Kako inside top 10 there is a fair chance we could go after Essendons pick 9.
  20. That's Jason Taylor's opinion of the draft testing, not mine. I'll happily take his opinions over anyone that attempts to day otherwise. Transition run isn't about speed.. it's the ability to cruise at a level that can get you to and from contests. Sam Mitchell was one of the slowest midfielders going around but it was his ability to gut run to and from contest at a consistent rate is why he was a champion inside midfielder. Langfords 2km was rated top 10 which means he's got the endurance to cover the ground.. massive tick. Langfords hands inside are just as impressive with his ability to get first use and disturbe cleanly to the outside. He's a one touch player with clean hands and ability to manoeuvre into space and use his left peg. One thing that's separates Langford from any other midfielders in the draft is that he's a goal kicking midfielder. In 15 games this year he's kicked 20.17 which shows he's got the versatility to go up forward and have a major impact as well. His best performance was a 33 disposal 4.0 game against Gippsland Power in round 9. This is where the game is going in terms of midfielders being able to score and have an impact up froward. This is something we severely lack as we are far too often relying on Petracca as our one and only mid who is capable of doing this.
  21. Jason Taylor has been on record through a number of podcast that draft testing gives them a good reading more on there mental capacity then physical. He has also stated that its not the be end all for determining that players draft selection or his footballing ability So yeah, in other words it barely makes that much of a difference either way.
