  1. Corey Wagner also make his official debut as a MFC player.
  2. Aaanywho.. back on topic. Its a pity I've moved back up bush, some of those training days i attended around finals time were a fantastic experience. I'm now keen to keep a close eye on Kade Chandler and Tom Sparrow. Just a quick one. James Jordan is from my way ( Yarrawonga ) and played a couple of senior football matches with some of my mates still playing there. Have heard nothing but glowing reports on him. Fantastic kid who works extremely hard and has enormous upside. Was also cut by Sandringham Dragons, but just kept plugging away and working hard. Reminds me of when Clayton Oliver was coming through the ranks.... The fact that he's already played senior footy for the strong Ovens and Murray league will only hold his development in good stead. Me personally, i think next year will be a development year for him. Spend most next year learning his craft at Casey around midfield and half back. I think he'll develop similar to James Harmes, where give it 60 to 70 games and he'll become a very handy player.
  3. Great report Dr D. Appreciate it. Interesting on Chandler, same height as Spargo but has a pretty big leap and is quick. With his tackling pressure, he could surprise during the pre season. Him and Spargo could form a nice little duo.
  4. Apparently the young recruits were put through a pretty gruelling running session?
  5. Forgot about Bedford.. good point.
  6. Ohh so its their fault that he couldn't get a kick...right..
  7. Offensive to who exactly?
  8. I've been a big Jeffy fan, but i agree, that GF performance was atrocious! When we needed senior heads to stand up he was MIA. He's actually lucky he's still on the list. Has a big challange ahead of him next year if Spargo development goes to another level.
  9. Where was he grand final day? Most important game of the year and didn't show up at all. Barely touched the ball from a bloke thats played over 170 games of AFL experience. And i would like to think that someone hes age would be already putting in "extras".. especially when he's career is at the crossroads.
  10. Give the man a 5 year deal. Hes is building a serious dynasty where players actually enjoy playing under him and wanting to play under him! His development and relationship building with players is right up there with the best in the competition when it comed to player coach relationship.

    Dal Santo being captain obvious..
  12. I'll dare to dream, but i see Weideman career unfolding a bit like Josh Kennedy from WC. A one touch grab who'll be hard to stop sa times because of how good his out reach marking ability is.
  13. When you say "we" who exactly are you talking about?
  14. I believe Maynard takes up that spare spot on the main list??
  15. Is the rookie draft also on??
  16. Great prospect who the dees have been tracking for 3 years now. They were so close to selecting him last year but had no rookie spots.
  17. Solid unit with speed.. do like!
  18. Where's Twomey had O'Hallloran as our first pick in in his Phantom. And no offense to the bloke but i don't rate knightmare at all. His power rankings over the years is actually quite laughable. Good on him for having a crack though... Guys like Twomey are worth the read, as they properly watches and interviews these players from a young age and gets insights from club recruiters.
  19. Shattered...
  20. I feel like this thread will be rebooted come mid year next year.. Might make Chazz look very silly... Wagner was winning some big midfield numbers for Casey this year, and by the sounds of his interview, he's matured and learnt a lot from his year out from the system. I can see him making a big contribution for us next year. And if not, no biggie.. got him for absolute [censored] all.

Why are you criticizing me. I'm only passing on whats been written about his weaknesses. If he has questionable work rate then he won't be on Simon Goodwins list. Jeff Garlett learnt that this year.

His work rate at times has been questioned. Dont think he's on Melbourne wish list.
  23. @Nick_Bowen Former Kangaroo small forward Corey Wagner expected to get to Melbourne under new pre-season selection rule I didn't see much of Corey this year but the Casey Demons have mentioned he's been a good player down there. I know some of his games he was winning big numbers in the midfield. Outside midfielder who has a big motor and can see him slotting in well on the wing position.
