WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MARTY HORE
Great prospect who the dees have been tracking for 3 years now. They were so close to selecting him last year but had no rookie spots.

Solid unit with speed.. do like!

Who’s left?
Where's Twomey had O'Hallloran as our first pick in in his Phantom. And no offense to the bloke but i don't rate knightmare at all. His power rankings over the years is actually quite laughable. Good on him for having a crack though... Guys like Twomey are worth the read, as they properly watches and interviews these players from a young age and gets insights from club recruiters.

Shattered...

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - COREY WAGNER
I feel like this thread will be rebooted come mid year next year.. Might make Chazz look very silly... Wagner was winning some big midfield numbers for Casey this year, and by the sounds of his interview, he's matured and learnt a lot from his year out from the system. I can see him making a big contribution for us next year. And if not, no biggie.. got him for absolute [censored] all.

Bailey Williams
Why are you criticizing me. I'm only passing on whats been written about his weaknesses. If he has questionable work rate then he won't be on Simon Goodwins list. Jeff Garlett learnt that this year.

Bailey Williams
His work rate at times has been questioned. Dont think he's on Melbourne wish list.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - COREY WAGNER
@Nick_Bowen Former Kangaroo small forward Corey Wagner expected to get to Melbourne under new pre-season selection rule I didn't see much of Corey this year but the Casey Demons have mentioned he's been a good player down there. I know some of his games he was winning big numbers in the midfield. Outside midfielder who has a big motor and can see him slotting in well on the wing position.

AFL Draft Central: Melbourne Preview
His frame is already bigger then Spargo and Higgins were this time last year. As Dr D said, he is senior ready.

Wagner to the Dees?

Phantom Drafts - 2018
Exactly the question I've been asking. Watching him alone, his talent is top 10 material. I have my fingers crossed that he makes it all the way to 23 and we snare him. Bargain.

AFL Draft Central: Melbourne Preview
How is McHenry slight frame any different to Spargo, Jack Higgin, Ben Ronke or even a Caleb Daniel? Rubbish to write him off so early. He is a very driven individual who'll succeed well once he's in an AFL environment. In fact if theres one big positive he has with him its his gut running ability to get up and down the ground. Plus his manic tackling pressure that clubs just crave.

PICKS # 26 & 31 (formerly # 23 & 28)
Personally think we'll recruit another mature age ruckman. Not sure we'll go down the path of recruiting a skinny project.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ
Regardless, i think both he and May are in for a rude shock when they realise our training standards are elite.

Looking a bit porky around the face yes, but give it a month and he'll be fine.

Casey Demons: 2019
Happened all finals series. He was pathetic. All well and good to be a voice on field, but at least back it up with actions. As a teammate i would find it very hard to listen to a bloke next year who struggled to get a single kick during the clubs most important period ( finals ) He wont be captain and based on his finals performance, hes not best 22 either.

2018 Delisted Free Agents
No offence mate, but if it was up to you we'd be recruiting every delisted free that gets cut from their club. Done nothing at AFL level to suggest he could make it elsewhere.

Lyon's Plea to Petracca: Be Like Max
The bit where Garry Lyon says that he might train hard and hard, but doesn't realise he can go up a level if he really wanted to is absolutely spot on. I believe Garry Ablett Jnr and Bernie Vince are on record to say that they thought they were training hard until their leaders sat them down and told them training hard just wasn't enough. I would be surprised if Jordan Lewis and Nathan Jones haven't had this conversation already with Petracca.

PICKS # 26 & 31 (formerly # 23 & 28)
No he is a gun. And if it's one player id love from St Kilda it's him. Since his debut he's improved each year and gotten better. Kicked 35 goals this year for a club that doesn't score heavily. He will play more midfield next year.
