PREGAME: Rd 20 vs Richmond
Because hes been thrown forward because we legit have no other talls up forward to give us a target ?♂️. Weideman, Smith and McDonald being out is the reason Petty is playing forward, c'mon mate, i know you're smarter then that. And that's your opinion that he's no forward. But to me he is a 19 year old being asked to be our number 1 key forward in unfamiliar territory and holding up extremely well. He had a good dual against a much experienced defender in Nathan Brown and held his own quite well. He is showing potential of someone that is worth training with the forwards group this up coming pre season to see what he is capable off. Especially if he can stack on 5 to 6 kilos on. The fact the club has more faith in throwing Petty up forward instead of Oscar shows where he sits in the pecking order. Prior to being moved up forward he was still getting games down back ahead of your mate. Great to see coaches have finally woken up to sweet reality.

Being way too kind.

PREGAME: Rd 20 vs Richmond
No, he was picked because Richmond have 2 talls in Lynch and Reiwoldt and we have no other tall defenders to come in while May is out. So unfortunately we are stuck with with him until May is bsck. C'mon mate even you yourself know they are not going to pick Hore because it leaves Lever having to play 2nd key tall when he is a 3rd tall at his best. Hore is 189cm tall and Omac is 196.. it's not a swap for swap situation. Hore [censored] all over Omac as a defender and will go on to become a great half half back for this football club. Oscar will be finished when he's contract is up.

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Depends really how you view elite? I would put him in the same category as Bontempelli

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
I simply think you just can't go past Anderson if GC dont receive a PP. At 189cm he is the perfect prototype of a genuine utility where i see him starting forward and making a sudden impact but also pushing into the midfield later and being a genuine star of the comp. Next in line I do like Ash, Serong, Flanders and even Young also. I have watched some games of Ash live and he just adds genuine speed and line breaking ability off half back. Interesting the query with Ash was his ability to play midfield and last week he played as an on baller and amassed 26 disposals 4 marks and 7 tackles. So i thought that was a really good insight into his potential for the future.

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Hey Jay, good to have you around again. I just finished listening to it and to be quite honest I found it to be a load of rubbish. When they went through the out of contract list they said they would give 2 year contracts to Alex Neal Bullen, Tim Smith and even Josh Wagner but yet would trade Sam Frost or sign him on a 1 year deal as depth player. Bunch of amatures who completely have no idea about our list. Then to finish it off they said that Ross Lyon would be the perfect coach for us? ?

PREGAME: Rd 20 vs Richmond
Did he? What part of Josh Bruce 4 goals did Oscar play his role? He was rubbish bin. He is only in the side because May didn't get up and we have no one else to cover him except Oscar. If May was ready this week McDonald would have been playing Casey.

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
He's played the past few games up forward and hasn't really done much at all. Even crow fans will tell you that he's struggled up forward in the SANFL.

Richmond VFL v Casey Demons - Round 18
Alex Neal Bullen get dropped and yet he's not even named at Casey..? Where Maynard?

Sam Frost - Contract status
Just clueless. Frost still has Frost moments, but he gives us a different dynamic down back with his speed and dash. If we have a Lever and May fit and healthy next year then Frost will go up another level. The big improvement for me has been his intercept marking. Closing in on 100 games next year so another experience defender we need down back. Must re-sign asap.

Chell he's finished.. struggling to make an impact at VFL level..

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Hogan in his first 2 years was our genuine key forward. Then after that he stopped crashing into packs and almost turned himself into a roaming 3rd tall in the Luke Bruest type.. Frustrated me that we changed his game style from a power forward to someone who wanted cheap joe the gooses. In saying that I'd still take him back..

Brandon Ellis (now a Sun)
MB welcome back old mate.
-
Brandon Ellis (now a Sun)
Experience, premiership player, and still only 25. Give me Ellis any day on a wing instead of the Wagner's.
-
Brad Hill
I do NOT want Hill on the basis that i know Mahoney and co would trade pick 2. We have the potential to pick up a future superstar in Noah Anderson who is destined to have a good 12 year career.
-
Alex Keath
We've barely had Lever May and Jetta all in the one side this year. The few games May has played this year pur defence has looked the best it has in a long time. If we do recruit Keath, where does he fit into the Frost, Lever, May lineup?? Frost is also out of contract currently as we speak.

Ranked 16th for Best U23 Talent
Me too mate, I'd rather Anderson. He has the ability to make a sudden impact up forward in the same way as Jayden Stephenson but also in the midfield as well. He brings genuine x factor and would add a whole new element to our side next year. Heard Mahoney on the radio last Thursday saying we have interest in Brad Hill and would assess the option of trading an early pick if thats what it takes. I nearly vomited in my mouth..
