Gawn In Doubt for Crows?
AF, that's an insult to the 2nd greatest ruckman in MFC history in Cam Pedersen who was our number 1 ruckman that night...

CHANGES: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
Nah he's been fine since April. I fact he played the last 2 scratch matches when the club was still in Melbourne. He'd be fresh and ready to go. Gawn being out isn't the end of the world. Might actually make our mids think twice and work even extra harder without the silver service.

The Need for Outside Midfielders
The need for outside midfielders has been a need since 2016. Yet our recruiting team have fail to act on it until last when they went and brought in two players. One is currently playing park footy. And to be honest Langdon hasn't really impressed me that much this year. I still shake my head when we went for another inside midfielder in Kyle Dunkley last year's mid season draft (on top of already selecting Tom Sparrow) when someone like a John Noble from Collingwood who was available would have been the perfect fit with his speed and dash. How we are 12 months and still playing the likes of Jones and Brayshaw on a wing is absolutely beyond me.

COVID Breaches by Clubs Could Derail Season
A disgraceful decision from a corrupt organisation in the AFL. Mitch is one of the more respected journos going around and love reading his content. Always good around the trade and draft period also. [censored] you Brooke Cotchin.

NON MFC: Round 09
They were very impressive Freo. Loved the fight and grit attitude they showed throughout the game.

Use of Tom Sparrow
rjay hasn't this been the consistent theme since Goodwin took over? Time and time again questionable selections on a Thursday have cost us games. The fact we are still talking about this to this day is frustrating to say at least.

CHANGES: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
Its worth noting that the rest of the remaining players have finally joined the the rest of the crew. I was a fan of some of Oskar Bakers work on the wing last year. Quick and agile and is a good kick also. I would bite the bullet and bring him in if it meant that Jones or Brayshaw don't have to play on the wing every again.

Go Get Garry
Yeah it could be the case @Pennant St Dee. It's obvious though that Ross was doing all this without even his own management knowing. Another obvious thing was that Ross Lyon was definitely on the list of high priority. Makes you wonder if we had snagged one of Clarkson or Lyon at the time what our club would look like know. So many what ifs.

INSIDE DEES’ REVIEW WITH ‘P****D OFF’ GOODWIN
Oh honestly mine was just a pisstake comment (hint at my permit comment) I seriously lol when random Joe blows pull out the old "me here at this time". I fairness though I was serious about the permits...

Does not surprise me one bit if true.

Go Get Garry
It was a disgraceful tweet. Thankfully they took it down after his brother gave them a serve.

The Need for Outside Midfielders
Don't you think we've let that happen far too long for little result back? The lack of finals success in the last 15 years speaks for itself in an alarming rate.

Go Get Garry
I was told this by an ex assistant coach at the Dees back in 2015 when we bumped into him while we were having beers and a BBQ just before new years eve in Corowa. He comes up every year during the summer period by the Murray with his family. Melbourne sought out Ross Lyon, Michael Malthouse and also Alistair Clarkson at the time. The theme was to go for an experienced coach as the board felt the players needed a fair shake up by a good hard taskmaster. When they spoke to Ross Lyon he declined as he had already told the club that he had committed to the saints. Garry Lyon and Ross Lyon shared the same manager in Craig Kelly, and Kelly even told Lyon that Ross had verbally committed to the saints but just hadn't signed as of yet. Ross then behind everyone's back has a secret meeting with the dockers and the rest is history. Even his manager Craig Kelly was caught completely off guard. Melbourne wanted him, but Ross had bigger things going on. Clarkson was offered a huge package deal. Garry Lyon and to a degree Stynes really pushed Clarkson hard, but he was contracted at the time and knew that a dynasty was only around the corner. Lyon then spoke to Malthouse. Mick had already confirmed that he was taking time off coaching (this was in 2011 after he finished up at the pies) and instead was looking at going into the media. It was there that Malthouse Apparently gave a glowing and raving endorsement about one of his young and up and coming assistant coaches in Mark Neeld. After the Dees missed out on their targeted experience men, they then changed their direction and interviewed the likes of Brendan McCartney, Alan Richardson and Mark Neeld. The rest is history as they say. All I will say is Garry Lyon tried what every melbourne supporter wanted at the time and that was go for the experienced coach we needed. Unfortunately we just ran out of options it seems. I dont blame Garry for the Neeld [censored] up.

No he's ball use is quite poor. He's a very meh player.

The Need for Outside Midfielders
You do realise Matt Crouch is a bigger inside of a midfielder then even Brayshaw and Harmes?
