2025 MFC Injury List
Marty Hore's body is simply not made for AFL. I reckon he retires at years end.

Laurie only played a half on the weekend and he was near BOG alongside Baldi for that matter. The bloke has been unfairly treated at selection while guys like Sparrow, Spargo and the likes continue to get royal treatment each time.

- Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson
Goodwin said in his post match presser that he fractured his hand.- New coach prospects
Has sone it previously with Josh Kennedy, Kieran Jack and now Luke Parker. The rate we are going we'll be signing Viney and co to co tracts well into their 40's- POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs North Melbourne

Without Maxys consent. It should never been brought up in the first place. I'm all for going in for a bat for his troops but he didn't.. he added further fuel to it which now has journo's grubby hands all over it. its okay to admit that Max got his colours lowered and had an off day.. you take the L and move on immediately from that. There is no harm in that. It was also quiet disrespectful on Xerri who put on a master performance and he failed to even acknowledge that. Kingy and Cornes were all over it on SEN this morning.- POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs North Melbourne
Well clearly he isn't a big boy if he's already canned his weekly post game segment yeah? Pretty poor that its literally taken only 2 games into the season for this to disappear. He's already thrown our captain under the bus with his bizarre take post match, so for me he still lacks the maturity levels in how to deal with the media.- Tim Lamb
It's right up there as one of the biggest list blunders we've had in a long time. As you say, we simply didn't need to extend at all, North bluffed us and Tim Lamb and Goodwin lost their cool and caved in. We're now stuck with Viney clogging up a spot of any up and coming mids such as Langford cementing that midfield position. Other then being an inside midfielder, Viney has no other flexibility in his game ro play other positions like Oliver and Petracca can. His performance yesterday was god awful especially his ball use. Drains me to think we're going to have to deal with that for the next 4 years.- POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs North Melbourne

Linc McCarthy, Darcy Gardiner, Keidan Coleman, Tom Doedee. They missed both premiership players in Will Ashcroft and Jack Payne for half a year due to injury and then lost their number 1 ruckman in Oscar McInerney for the grand final.- POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs North Melbourne
- Welcome to Demonland: Tom Campbell
Just wanted to highlight that literally everything you predicted, happened! I too was also in the camp of playing Campbell against the Roos. Everyone would have seen that only a few weeks back Campbell was able to physically beat Xerri in a practice game. If he is there to be used, use him.. even up forward he adds a solid body next to JVR and at least competes in the air against Comben. If Max is going through personal issues then don't play him. This is literally the reason why we brought Campbell in to step in when needed but also give Gawn a chop out so that he's not being physically burnt out.- Time to go Goody?
Ironically we were one of the most attacking and high scoring teams in the AFL back in 2017-2018. We leaked too many goals playing a Sam Frost and Oscar McDonald led defence which resulted in him being super defensive after that.- PREGAME: Rd 03 vs Gold Coast

We're not a team known to make big changes even after a big loss like that. Clearly Jefferson is gone with a fractured hand so you'd think Johnson comes back in. I did see Fullarton take some pretty solid clunks up forward today in the VFL, could he possibly be an option for Jefferson? I feel like eventually we either need a Fullarton or Campbell playing together with Gawn at some stage. Today he looked completely gassed and Campbell completely dominated the ruck at VFL level. Even as a big body up forward perhaps. Wanted Sharp gone last week and got questioned by a few folks on here.. where are they now? He's a genuine VFL depth plodder who i much prefer Bailey Laurie playing instead of him. Hopefully Steven May is a chance. We are shot once he actually retires. Our depth is pretty limited to be honest....
