  2. Where to start.. Dogs had Treloar, Dunkley, Keith, Martin and Wood missing tonight. We had no one. 100% they are the better side. Say what you want, they've been consistent this year and have won the games we've lost. They deserve the flag this year. Another game where we are exposed carryig passengers. For goodness bloody give Luke Jackson a spell! Once again had zero influence alongside the likes of Rivers, Hibberd, Langdon, ANB who have all been down on form the past couple of weeks. We've got the likes of Melksham, Lockhart, Daw, Weideman and Bowey all set and ready to fill a role. Harmes got taught a lesson by Libba. When his tagging goes to [censored], Harmes really adds nothing tonight. It was honest a disappointment game. Also why is he a try hard Dusty? ANB was back to his usual brain fades/spudding it up. Thought I saw a much Improved player at the start of year but nope, same [censored] different week. Can we recruit another Kozzie next year that can keep him out? The difference between Bont and Petracca is light years apart. If I see another cringe comparison by supporters on here and also the media then I'll spew up. Don't get me wrong, Petracca is good. But he is so sloppy and half the time think he's gotta be the [censored] match winner by always wanting to shoot for goal. The way that Bont just cruises around, but yet keeps his game simple is seriously a marvellous to watch. Brayshaw and Salem are both incredibly soft. I saw one piece of play where Brayshaw completely squibbed a contest. It was not s good look at all and I think it stifled him because he was ****house for the rest of the game. Salem is too scared to either pick up the ball or provide a 50-50 contest. I'm honestly losing patience with Brayshaw. Defence was a bit sloppy tonight. Lever got exposed for not being a good one on one defender. Gawn 57 hitouts to English 14 and yet we lost the clearance count.. how on [censored] earth does this happen?? The ruck to midfield connection is an absolute mess. Throw that next two our goal kicking issues and there is some genuine concerns heading into finals Not sure what to make of us now. Have voiced concerns for over a month now, and we are 18 rounds in yet we still don't know what our best forward structure is. Hate to be negative, but we've seen all this before and unfortunately this year isn't much different to 2018.
  3. Give off the first option Viney you absolute scrub!
  4. Game over. We seriously make it so hard on ourselves in scoring a [censored] simple goal. Williams or Stafford need a [censored] reality check around our goal kicking training. They are in charge of this and yet we are getting 0 in return. Absolutely woeful from our footy club once again.
  5. Yep right call.
  6. Jacko.... ?‍♂️
  7. That was ****ibg soft Brayshaw!!!
  8. [censored] kozzie is good
  9. Midfield is so dysfunctional.
  10. Free kicks 8 to 2 there way..
  11. We miss goals in front and yet doggies pull goals out of there [censored]. You seriously couldn't predict this [censored] any clearer.
  12. GC giving Brisbane a touch up.
  13. Amazing at the amount of confidence for tonight? It's easy to live off the 'we haven't lost to a top 8 team'. But unfortunately I think tonight we'll see our first loss to a top 4 club. I rate Bevo as a coach and think he'll have put enormous amount of homework into us and making sure they don't repeat what happened last time. Some of Goody's coaching tactics in the past couple weeks have been ordinary at best.
  14. I was watching replay of the Geelong game of 2018 where we lost after the siren. His ball use and creativity inside forward 50 was as good I've seen. And even his finals series that year was phenomenal. Need that form back from Melksham. 1. I honestly think we could. But for this to work it comes down to the ball carrier being smart with their ball use going inside 50. Couldn't afford to just bomb it on BB head at every opportunity. 2. That's the other counter argument. Having Melksham and Fritta neglects our pressure as both are both in keeping the ball inside our forward 50. It's my other worry as well.
  15. I don't bet and never have. I also don't use betting forums as an indication of form. Doesn't have to be Weid. Even if they wanted to go small and bring in Melksham. Felt like our ball use up forward has been fair poor lately. As I've already stated, Melksham has frustrated me this year, but maybe we need his experience and ball use coming up to finals.
  16. None intended. All good points you make Jaded.
  17. To be honest since the bye, Jackson has been down in majority of those games since.
  18. Everything you have noted in the second paragraph, has me just as confused as you are. What's even more annoying was that it's not like teams were putting work into them and limiting their output.
  19. Interestingly I thought the GWS game he was playing too high up as well. Looking at that heat map it is obvious he's playing a much higher role, but hes numbers the past few weeks ain't great. I'm sure Burgess is all over it, but he's looked very tired the last couple of weeks. I would almost even put Rivers in the same boat as well. In my honest opinion their output has dropped off. As much as Melksham has frustrated me this year I would have brought him in for Jackson. Or if they wanted the tall still, then Weideman.
  20. Yeah don't know how he's getting a free run. I like his work around the ground but even that has limited the past few weeks. But a McDonald or Weideman hold up well enough in the ruck. Up forward Jackson has zero influence, even to the point where we are almost playing a man down. Cannot afford to carry passengers over the next few weeks being such a crucial period for us. I'd rather give him a spell for a week or two and freshen him up for finals.
  21. The VFL was up and running when Jack returned against the Don's.
  22. I'm truly confused myself. Logic would say you play him in the position that made him finish 3rd in the brownlow right? Yet we prefer a plodder like Viney. If we are going to continue to [censored] fart around with him like this, then just trade him. He'd made a decent career playing in his suitable position.
  23. Whilst it's good to see Harmes back I honestly think Vandenberg is stiff. I thought his courageous act might have kept him but obviously not. I would have easily dropped Brayshaw for Harmes and kept Vanders at half forward where Brayshaw has been shifted too. Gus has honestly given us nothing for the past month and has had 0 influence on the team. Seriously needs to pull his finger out this weekend because he's getting a free run at it with some of his insipid efforts the past few weeks. The shifting around of Brayshaw is becoming one of the more perplexing scenarios going around.
  24. Whilst I agree yes, he was our number 1 player for pressure acts last week. Coaches love that [censored].
  25. Luke Jackson is very very lucky..
