No appeal. Club has accepted the suspension.
-
Oh I meant in terms of player movement.
-
Looking like it'll be a fairly quite trade period for us.
-
Still have Mitch Duncan and Jeremy Cameron to come back into the side too..
-
Do you watch much footy? Why on God earth's name would you put Hibbo on Cameron? Cameron would kick a bag on Hibberd. Not only that Hibberd is 186cm in height compared to Jeremy Cameron who is 195cm tall. Match up would just be plain silly.

Well now that Viney is out, who comes in? Vandenberg? Jordon?
-
Because the club rate Joel extremely highly and he's been named emergency the past few weeks. He's also shown he can play on the smalls and do the job like he did against Papley last year. I'm not a Smith fan myself, but Hibberd hasn't exactly been crash hot the past couple of weeks. Just seems to fumble at the most crucial time.

Fair point

Not surprised by the 2 Weeks.

Interesting no Salem?

2021 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
dazzledavey36 replied to TRIGON's topic in Melbourne Demons
Time to let it go Jack.. he ain't coming to us. -
I'd be chasing Luke Parker hard.
-
Is this legit? Bloody hell what a pisser!
-
I too LOL'd at that... Yep think it'll be 1 or 2 weeks. Who knows honestly though with the tribunal. All over the shop in recent years.
-
Interestingly I do wonder whether Joel Smith could be a surprise inclusion for Salem?
-
Yes it's normal

If Viney does miss I think they'll go the extra big body in Vandenberg. I would have preferred Jordon, but gut feel in me thinks they'll prefer to freshen Jordon up for finals. Vanders actually played well in both 2018 games in Perth so could be another consideration. It's also meant to be a wet game so again the extra hardened body helps in these conditions. Salem is the obvious out it seems? Hibberd comes straight back in. I'm banking that the club will give McDonald every opportunity until the final minute. If he is ruled out this weekend then it's a coin toss between Melksham and Weideman. Again, it's going to be wet so maybe Melksham gets the nod.
-
Looks like we are in for a wet one....
-
Still a chance McDonald gets up. Though I reckon they'll leave it last minute. 5 hour plane trip wouldn't help but if he has a light week on the track and is able to get up then hopefully he doesn't have to miss.
-
Can you point out other incidents like this from the weekend? Even maybe the last 4 weeks?
-
It's buddy..
-
Watching On The Couch and Nick Riewoldt just said it's a dirty act and should be given more then 1 week. Garry Lyon said its certainly not a good look and potentially looking a some time. Earlier on Jason Dunstall also said its not a good look as well.. There's a trend.

Who do you exactly speaking for? Most of the commentary the last two years has been about Viney playing the rugby league style of trying to run through opponents, and instantly get pinged for holding the ball. If he's not doing that he's running through his teammates and having no awareness of his surroundings. Playing on edge is him giving away stupid free kicks by being dumb about it. This is becoming a constant theme for him the past 2 years. There's playing on edge, and there's being silly by not channelling that properly on the field.
-
Yeah nah I didn't think so. Even after watching the doggies replay, nothing had changed my opinion on that I thought he was still fairly average.
-
Well I just did.
